The Gaffney House is a really unique assisted living facility. It's located in a century old Capital Hill Mansion in downtown Seattle. The home really has a lot of character. Each resident has their own room but bathrooms are shared. The food smells delicious. The staff is really helpful and so far seem to be agreeable to individualized care plans. From my observation there seems to be a fairly high staff to resident ratio. My friend has memory deficits and the staff checks on her every hour all night long so make sure she is doing well and see if she needs any assistance.
