We are so grateful for Cogir Kirkland! My mom has lived there for 3 months, and it's such a relief to know she is safe and well cared for. The community is only a year old--it's beautiful, light, and well-maintained, plus the rooms are very large. And surprisingly, the food is great! But the very best part is the staff! They are very skilled and professional, while also being super kind and caring. My mom is at the end of life, and can be "difficult" on top of it. Each staff member works extra hard to ensure she is heard; that she has everything she needs; and that she is comfortable and happy. Cogir Kirkland has a new General Manager that has been successful in implementing new systems and processes, and in building a strong and committed team. We are so happy to have them as part of our family!

Cogir of Kirkland only has assisted living, they don't have memory care. It's a lovely place. They showed me a studio apartment that was quite lovely. The place itself was very nice and the staff was nice, but they couldn't provide what my husband needs. I would like to have a swimming pool and they don't have a swimming pool, but they have everything else. I'd go there myself. The room they showed me was a corner room. There was a bed, a couch, a TV, and a very small kitchen. It's large enough. The dining area was probably 25 steps away. The people that I talked to were charming and wonderful. They were great.

My mom is now in Cogir of Kirkland. What I like about them is that it's a smaller community, and the layout is very simple. It's in the shape of a boomerang, so everything that's community-based is in the center. So it's easier for my mom to navigate, and everything is within her ability to get to. However, their activity person is not there, and they're in the process of hiring one. So my mom is not getting the activities that were expected. But other than that, the food is great. My mom loves the food. The staff is helpful. They have puzzles and movies, and they have things out, but there's no coordinator to do outings. With regard to value for money, I think they're right in the range of all the other places. And they have two bright ceiling lights, and none of the other places have ceiling lights in their ceiling.
