High Point Village was very clean. The people were friendly. I've heard good things about them taking good care of the people that live there. They have exercise classes. They have a crafting area and a community room where they can do puzzles and stuff together. They have activities. They take them on tours. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions.

I don't know if Village Concepts of Enumclaw High Point Village was as warm and inviting as it looked, but it looked as if they had a happy place. All these places were kind of rebuilding all their activities and stuff after COVID and not being able to do a lot. It is kind of obvious that this place was a little slower in rebuilding back to pre-COVID days. I wasn't particularly fond of the tour, because the staff took us to a room that was beautiful and on a courtyard and everything, but it wasn't the room that was being offered. The room that was being offered wasn't on a courtyard or even comparable to what it would have been. So it kind of threw me off a little bit, and I had to point it out myself. The person giving the tour was OK. The rooms were clean -- nothing spectacular. There were very few of them around the courtyard with sliding doors, but a lot of them had a view of the parking lot and were not really spectacular. The outdoor spaces that they had were sparse, but they were nice. The dining area was good; that was a really positive point, along with their menu. I could see plates of food there, and you have lots of choices. The dining area was nice and clean. I could see workers cleaning and sanitizing tables, so I can appreciate that.

My father is at High Point Village. It works very well for him. He's very close to us, and they do a great job. With COVID I haven't really met many people because I can't visit, but from what my dad said, they do really well. They can't do the activities like they used to, but they have a whole new wing, and there's a nice little courtyard he can go to. They moved him into a brand new room that opened up shortly after he moved there, and they were very accommodating since he had to move during COVID. He couldn't view the room ahead of time, and they had helped him a lot and were checking on him well. They've done a great job at keeping everybody there safe as well.

It seemed like the apartment at High Point Village was really good and had plenty of closet space. Most of the apartments I visited had their own washer and dryer. It looked like everyone was having a good time. The dining room was great and the atmosphere outside had a lot of beautiful greenery. The staff was really nice and introduced us to a couple of the other people who worked there, too, who were very nice.

My friend moved in to Highpoint Village. It is both independent and assisted living. However, it only goes through assisted living, and she cannot stay there beyond that. It is close to her original home. It has a friendly staff, and the food is good. It is all on one floor and is convenient to the people who live in that area for visiting. She also has a relative that lives there, so she is familiar with the place and the staff. I know that they have a calendar of events, but I do not believe that my friend has gone to too many -- maybe a couple. My sister-in-law happens to be the leader of a choir, and they have performed there just a few nights ago. Some of the residents get together and play cards. I believe they have church services, and they have a bus that will take people to doctor's appointments. There is a hospital probably within 3 miles. They are doing an excellent job with her, and I will recommend it to others.
