I went to see SHAG Boulevard Place Senior Living in Bothell, and the tour was very good. I wasn't able to get into an apartment because they were all full. They didn't have a model unit. The location was perfect, and there were lots of shops nearby. It's also very clean and well-kept. I really liked that the Gilman Trail was nearby. They had nice, wide sidewalks, so you could just go for walks in the neighborhood. There were lots of trees, and it's very clean with lots of different kinds of shops. From restaurants to bakeries and a little bit of everything. There's even a place to get your hair done, do pottery, or an art show. I think it's pretty new, maybe just a few years old. I can tell that they take very good care of everything. They were also very cautious with wearing masks. When the staff that was showing me around, we met up with a tenant. They were very friendly. You could just tell there was a good friendly atmosphere between the office and the tenants. I was really impressed with the community garden up on the roof. Everything is really kept up nice. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They weren't pushy at all. They were very encouraging, and knew a lot about the area. You could tell that she really liked her job. She had a good people-person personality. The place had everything from an exercise room, a decent library, and gardens, which I would love to get involved in. The location was just very, very nice. You probably wouldn't even need to use your car because everything was very handy. It sounds like there's a little bit of everything for everybody. They have posted meeting times for different groups. They also do bus rides to a number of places. From Costco to the mall and all kinds of things. They also do excursions to the movies. I was also really impressed that they had a movie room with a decent number of movies there that you could just put in. There was a nice clean area if you wanted to even have family over to watch a movie. You could go to that room, and everybody's spaced out nicely. They also had a big courtyard if you wanted to have your family over for a meal or a birthday celebration. You could just sign up to use that room.
