I'm in a nice senior place called Heritage Estates. The homes have balconies. The balcony has a storage room at the end of it. It's a one-one. There is a door from the living room into the restroom and another door from the bedroom, so they don't have to come into your bedroom to go to the bathroom. I like that. The one-ones only have showers. The unit is almost 800 square feet, which I also like. It comes with a refrigerator with an icemaker, a microwave, and a dishwasher. There are two sinks and an electric oven in the kitchen, too. The meals aren't included, but trash, water, and sewer are included in the rent, so all you have to pay is your electricity. It has washer and dryer hook-ups, too. In the living room area, there's a built-in desk with a cabinet at the top where you can put books and stuff. It's a very, very nice apartment. Some buildings are two stories high, and some buildings are three stories high, but they have elevators. They're very helpful. I just moved in Friday, and they're having donuts and coffee at the office for the residents. I didn't know about it, so the manager called and invited me. They're pretty friendly over here. They keep the building very clean. I also like that throughout the complex, they have seating areas where you can just go sit outside. You can have pets, but they have a deposit and then a monthly fee. They have activities every week in the office. They have a gym that has treadmills and bikes. They have an area where you can watch movies. They have a library and a media room with three computers and printers that you can use. They have walk-in gates and drive-through gates, so you have to have a code to get in here, which is good for security.
