"I was at The Buckingham rehab for six months. I didn't have any problems with anyone. Things could be improved for the staff, but the staff and everybody were nice. My room was very nice. It was a large private room with a walk-in shower, chairs, and a nice TV mounted on the wall. It was like a small hotel room. The food presentation was awesome, but some days it did not taste as good as it looked. They had recreation, bingo, reading books, singing, and entertainment."

"The Hallmark has been such a blessing in the long-term care of my grandmother. First off, the building is beautiful and well kept. The staff is loving and kind and treats my grandmother with the respect that she deserves. They are extremely attentive, and keep us in the loop with my grandmother's condition. What is really wonderful about the Hallmark is that they not only have assisted living, but Alzheimer's care so that if your loved one is diagnosed with a memory related disease, s/he may transition into this area. This happened to my grandmother a few years ago, and, again, I cannot speak highly enough regarding the Hallmark and the care and attention which they give her. The nutritionist is excellent and her memory and attentiveness have improved dramatically since we moved her into the Hallmark. The Hallmark has many events and activities to keep the residents engaged, and gives my grandmother loads to talk about whenever I call or visit her. I could go on for pages for how grateful I am for the Hallmark and the care which they have given my grandmother. Simply the best place in the city for you or your loved one if you are seeking an Assisted Living or Nursing care facility. "

"We went to Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor. They have a nice facility with a pretty campus and excellent food. It was very welcoming. Their food is of good variety, good taste, and good presentation. The staff who toured me was very helpful and friendly."

"Parkway Place was absolutely beautiful, and I could live there very easily, but I thought they're high priced. They offer 2 meals a day, and you get to choose which 2 you want. "

"Cherishing Paths Inc. was very good. It's a brand new house. They explained about the security and the different levels of care that they could provide. I looked at their memory and I was very pleased. It just looked like the front yard was not taken care of, but everything else was perfectly clean. Their rooms were brand new and they were also very nice and very clean. The lady staying there seemed very well taken care of. The staff lady that I spoke to who gave me the information was very professional."
