"The Village at Gleannloch Farms has a Wellness and Navigation Program. This gives you peace of mind that even though you are independent, you have access to a person who helps you plan your steps to be able to continue to actively age in place. They have licensed private duty. Very active residents and activities."

"Hallmark was clean and well-organized. It was excellent. If I were going to move, that's where I would move. The woman who took us through was outstanding. Everything was in beautiful order. The rooms were handsomely set-up. The tour was excellent. We were there for lunch, and the food was excellent. It was apparent that plenty of the things were set-up. They had a swimming pool."

"I like everything about living at Treemont. It's clean and orderly, and the service is good. The staff is nice, and the food service is well organized and serves healthy meals. The owners are very accommodating about residents' food preferences. We're close to Memorial City Mall and the emergency room at Memorial Hermann hospital. There are many activities; musical performances, exercise programs, field trips, etc. It's a great value, as well."

"My husband has moved to The Forum At Memorial Woods. He is in their memory care. The caretakers are very friendly and attentive, and the community itself seemed lively. His room is excellent and the staff are helpful. I only experienced one meal there, and it was fantastic. The dining room is large and very nice like a five-star hotel. They put out an activity calendar that is so full that there's no way a person could do it all. They have activities listed 7 days a week, from 9 to 6."

"We toured University Place Nursing Center. I liked it a lot. I need to be on a special kind of diet, and the chef was very open to talking with me. He talked about how he managed restricted-food patients, and I liked everything he had to say. It was very helpful, and that was a really good point. Also, it is just a few blocks from where we live. They showed me two-bedroom, two-bath apartments. It looked like the kitchen had just been updated. You have your own washer and dryer in the apartment, and not down the hall. They will not let you bring in any outside help. They have their own help. Three people will be assigned to our apartment, and they'll be coming in every day, so that's just a little intrusive. We went on a Saturday, and we didn't realize that nobody would be there. It was actually the chef who took us on our tour around. That was probably why he gave me as much time, because he knew how to talk about the kitchen and the dietary capacity. He was great, except he didn't know that much about touring. The food was great. We ate in the dining room. It was very well prepared and very well served. The restaurant was quiet but very nice."

"My father was diagnosed with Dementia & Alzheimer's almost 5-years ago. in 2011, we had to move Dad to Seven Acres where he lived for over 4-years - on the Alzheimer's floor. The care and compassion shown to him during these last years was so much more than we could have hoped. We were at peace knowing he was treated with respect and love. We want to thank the entire staff, and especially those on the 2nd floor Miller unit for their love. Dad passed away a few weeks ago and the outpouring of caring meant more than they could ever possibly know. "

"Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor was a lovely place. There were three women I met with who were residents, and we had coffee together, and I was able to ask questions of them and hear their experiences. They had all lived there for eight years. They were delightful and very nice people. It looks like a nice place. Their financial requirements are pretty high. If you sign up for it, it's continuing care, and they will not put you out if you run out of money. But they require a substantial amount of money. It's invested and kept. If you don't use the money, 90% of it is refunded, but it still ties a lot of capital. They told me that most people lived there for 12 years, but they do have people who are over 100 living there. The staff took me around and showed me about three available apartments. One of them was in the new section that was built in the last few years. It was more of a modern build. I preferred the older building, which had a more traditional feel to it."

"My mom moved into Parkway Place three weeks ago. It's safe. The people are extremely attentive and helpful. And the place is modern and clean. They have one and two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens. And then they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have full amenities. And they have convenience stores. The staff was excellent. They're helpful and knowledgeable."

"Eagle's Trace is marvelous, but it's quite expensive. They even have a hospice on location and assisted living. It's all in one place. It's huge. It's got a big lake behind it and you can fish. They have a natatorium. They have a huge exercise room. All of the apartments have closed-in patios. They have a variety of costs. You can even get a whole suite, but that would be the most expensive one. They have one-bedroom, one-bedroom with a studio, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom. There are no children living there. It's all seniors. They have anything you could think of that you want. You can have your food delivered to your room. They have three or four different restaurants down in the lobby. They have a huge game room with any kind of game you can think of. If you want to just walk or run, they have a long walkway. It looks like it's surrounded by a park, but it's all part of their site. It's a gated community, so not anyone can just drive in. You have to stop at a guard booth. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. They even have exercise classes every day for you to work out if you want. The tour included a lunch. They have a chef on site. It's delicious food. It's like eating cuisine. The facility was marvelous. It was like going to a resort. When you move in there, they also will take care of you moving. They'll sell your home for you. For example, if your home sells for say, $300,000 and you want to move into a two-bedroom and the cost of that would be $200,000, if you die while you're there, they keep 10% of it and send the rest to the beneficiary of your choice. They provide all the movers and everything to move you out of your home. They'll do an estate sale for your furniture and everything, and then give you the check after they've done all of that. There are doctors and nurses there."

"I was pleasantly surprised with Villas on Woodforest. The condition of the property was very good and the people were very friendly. It was top notch. They had different scheduled games during the month and bus trips to various things in the community that people want to see and homeowner meetings. It seemed like they stayed busy pretty much all month. The pricing was extremely good. They had a swimming pool, library, computer room, putting green, covered, enclosed parking, and a store where you could buy certain things that you might need at the last minute. They also had a large dining room, but they didn't serve food themselves."

"I am at so happy to have found Ms Latisha and Ms Jeannette when I did. My grandmother needed so much help and they welcomed her and me into their home. They took Care of her as if she was apart of their family. Always asking about how to improve their care and were so encouraging even when she my grandmother was feeling down they raised her up and kept her going. My family was always welcomed to visit. They were knowledgeable about medications. Meals were prepared daily. Activities puzzles exercise ect were on a schedule and told me of any concerns. Her stay was only Temporary until she was able to relocate to her home town. At the time she left she was not walking but they helped her with transferring. This was a hundred percent better than 2 trips she had to skilled nursing where they told me to accept that she was going to be bed bound. Today she walking (assisted). and talking non stop..lol. If you have a loved one in need this is definitely one in which you won't have to worry! Thank you so much"

"I visited a friend here who was at the facility for rehab. The building is older but was extremely clean. The nurses aides were friendly and attentive. The nurses seemed vested in their patients. I had a concern that I spoke with the administrative team about and we received immediate satisfactory results. Overall this has been a good experience. "

"I love this place and the concept behind the place. Mounbatten House is a non-profit organization and it does fundraisers behind the scenes to keep the cost so cheap. There are no hidden fees-meaning they do not charge per meal, do not charge per cleaning the rooms, do not charge per doing their laundry, or do not charge per handing out the medication. I would highly recommend this place. The staff are friendly. "

"My wife is at The Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I don't go over there too often, but they seem to take good care of her. She's combative since she had a stroke. She doesn't want to take her medicine or none of that stuff. The facility is pretty nice looking. She has just a regular room, and it's got two beds. It's a two-people room. The hallways are pretty long. They're pretty nice people and they seem to be pretty caring and helpful. They do a good job. I would recommend them. They give the same care that they did when she was in the hospital. She is in rehab because they're teaching her how to talk and how to walk. She can't do either one after her last stroke."

"My son-in-law is at The Forum at the Woodlands. The thing that impressed me the most is that they had several veterans there, and he is a disabled veteran, and I was hoping that he could link with some of them. The place is well-manicured and well-taken care of. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I'm a little disappointed in the food, but he's OK with it. I went to dinner with him one night at 5:00, and I ordered a carrot salad, and they brought out a lettuce salad, saying they were out of carrot salad at 5:00. I ordered a peach cobbler, and they brought another dessert, saying they were out of it. I ordered fish, and it was dry and it wasn't very good. That's just one meal, though. His apartment is very nice and clean. I requested that they screen in the back porch because he is allowed to have his dog there. I thought that would be perfect for the dog to go out on the porch, and they screened it in for him. So that was going the extra mile for him, and I appreciated that. The refrigerator and stove are good. Everything is like new. It had been painted and redone, and new flooring put in before he moved in. I was quite impressed. It was lovely. The activities are on the calendar, and there are a lot of things to do there. The one activity I was interested in is that once a month, they get the veterans together for either a coffee or a lunch. I'm hoping that that's something he will take advantage of and get to know some veterans and make his stay a little better that way. I took a bunch of books to their library. Yesterday, I was there, and people were sitting in the library visiting. I wasn't impressed by the equipment and the exercise room, but then I had to remember it's for seniors. They have a barber and a hair salon. The staff has been delightful. They take good care of the place. He gets two meals a day, but if he doesn't like it, they have an open thing where he can get other food."

"My sister is doing so well at Regal Estates. I would not have dreamed she would do so well. She was living alone and that was not working anymore. The upkeep on a house, the social isolation everything was becoming a problem. Because of her special needs, my brothers and I worried it might not work out. Well it has been several years now and she is happy and doing fantastic! The Staff at Regal is patient, caring, kind and smart when it comes to 'reading' what each resident needs. When we ask for help on something they are quick to respond and solve the slightest issue quickly and efficiently to everyones satisfaction. They keep the residents engaged in fun activities, vary the dining menus, administer her medicines for seizures and the place is spotless and oh so cheerful. All this even during Covid! Our family is so relieved and my sister is so much better off. No more calls crying in frustration from her. Regal Estates is one of the many blessings in our lives! "
