"My friend and I went to Morningside Ministries at the Meadows. We looked at the independent living, and the people there were out and about and very friendly. We saw a menu. We did not stay for a meal, but it looked good, and everybody said "Oh, the food is excellent here." The apartments themselves were a bit smaller, but very well maintained, and there were full kitchens. We only met a couple of the staff, and they're very friendly. The one gal was retiring the next day. It had a more friendly feel to it and more family-like feel to it. I was very impressed with the person who took us around. He showed us a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom. It was very well kept, and they were remodelling the apartments as they became empty. The facility itself was very clean."

"My mother is a practicing Catholic, and that is the focus. The Village at Incarnate Word is a Catholic facility. They celebrate feast days, they have bible study, and they have mass daily. I know they have numerous other things as well. I would describe the facility as large, clean, and homey. From the moment I walked in, there was a real spirit about the place that made me feel like God was present, so that was awesome. "

The staff is first class, the food is the best we have found in like facilities, the variety of living options from apartments to condos of various types, offers residents many options to call home. Facilities and resident-centered activities are in abundance. From the swimming pool to the first-class fitness center to the on-site rehab center, and an abundance of activities, residents have great opportunities for living a healthful and enjoyable lifestyle. We've lived here for over five years and wouldn't live anywhere else."

"I went to Blue Skies of Texas. I loved it. It's cheaper and much nicer. I would go on a heartbeat except it's too far out for me. It's a 30-minute drive from where I am now, and it would take 20 minutes to get to my doctors, so that's a long drive, and I can't do that. I have to be close to my doctors. They're very good. Their food is good. Their dining area is very nice. Their people seem very nice. Their rooms are very nice and reasonable. The apartments are a nice size, and they have full kitchens. They do the meals by points. They give you so much a month to use all your points; otherwise, you have to pay. However, because they give plenty of points, that's never a problem, and you will always have some left over. They have a swimming pool, Pilates, they have Tai-Tai, and they have other exercise balance programs. They have all the doctors there, and they have line dancing. They have a lot of different activities. It's a lot bigger as well."

"Pinnacle at Eden Hill is very well-managed, and the facilities were nice and well-run. The staff who accommodated me was very professional. The rooms I saw were apartments. They gave us a whole tour of the building and it was very nice. There were a few women doing some dance exercise. All of the residents that we met were very happy with the community."
