I've moved into Woodside Manor Senior Community. I love it. I rarely see the staff. I see the maintenance guys because they also pick up the trash and they're nice. They don't serve food. They have activities, but I don't have a way to get around, so I haven't participated. The maintenance is fine. The floor plan is wonderful. Once we saw this area, we loved it. The housing is wonderful. I feel like I'm in a private house.

I am a Woodside Manor Senior Community resident. They told me things when I came here to get the apartment; now it's something different. It's not what they advertised it to be. They said they have a gym where we can go work out at the gym. They have a swimming pool. They have all the activities, and some insurance lady who sells Medicare Plus comes here and holds a bingo game to try to get people to sign up for insurance. They've changed the staff, and we got a new manager. They require everything from us, but when we ask things, they'll get to it when they feel like it. But when they want us to do something, it's like they demand it, and if we don't, you're in violation of your lease. The food trucks that come around and sell stuff are expensive. I looked at the menus, but I wouldn't eat it. They do good maintenance on the lawn and everything, they put a new roof on the place, and when the rain washed the tar off the new shingles they were supposed to power-wash that, but they never did. I'm in a power wheelchair, so I bring that stuff in on my tires. They haven't power-washed this place at all.

I am in the Woodside Manor Senior Living complex. I'm in a two-bedroom, two-bath, but I cannot afford it. I need to find something that's a one-bedroom. I am also in an income tax free or tax cut situation here at the Woodside Manor. They don't do anything to improve their grounds. They're not very reliable with their in-house maintenance. I've turned in a couple of reports, but they've really done nothing to repair the conditions that I have turned in. There is a dining area and a kitchen. It should have been re-done before I moved in. Unfortunately, I flooded the place from an overflowing bathtub. Amenities have not been opened since last April. Several of my friends that are in other communities, their amenities have been re-opened with social distancing required. However, Woodside Manor will not open any of our amenities here. There's a billiards room, a cards room, a crafts room, and a large area with tables and chairs. They don't have food service here. They did allow covered dish dinners when the community could get together. They have no dog run for your dogs; you must put your dogs on a leash at all times. They have a swimming pool, but they haven't opened any of these amenities back up for us, even with social distancing. It is just like I'm paying for things that I'm not getting. I'm very disappointed.
