Whispering Pines of the Woodlands was a 5-star community. It's on 11 acres and they had walking trails and outside patios. I liked the kitchen the most. They had a dish room that was separate from the food prep room because they said they didn't want any cross contamination from that area. I've never seen a facility like that. It was a pretty big community. It was larger than what I would've wanted for my brother because with Parkinson's and COPD, it was quite a walk from the rooms to the day area and cafeteria. He might get winded with the distance that he would have to travel. However, they had wheelchair assistance available, but as much as possible he likes to walk.
