"I've been to Asher Pointe Senior Living of Austin twice. It's very nice, but it's too far north. All of my friends are South, and all my music that I listen to is in South Austin. The one who gave me the tour was very, very nice. The facility is very nice, plus it has a beautiful garden that you look out on from your rooms. I was there one time when they were having lunch, and the dining area was very nice. The people who were there kept asking me, "Are you gonna move here? This is really nice." They had a lot of amenities, but I was very impressed with their library. It was very large."

"The staff member at Brookdale North Austin was very, very helpful. It was Britney that I was talking to, she helped me with all kinds of information. I was concerned with the price and how I was going to work with Medicare, and she was telling me how things work out. She went through the process of how the system works and gave me other information. Her primary focus was to make sure that my mom received the best care whether we chose her facility or not. The place was clean and friendly, the staff was engaging with the clients regularly, and they knew everybody's name. The rooms and all the common areas were very clean. I felt like my mother would be safe there. The facility itself is older, but they're taking care of it."

"We visited Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care and toured their assisted living for my sister. She has been there before but they're not willing to take her back. She is a type 1 diabetic and on an insulin sliding scale program and they can't do that. The place is very clean and has good cafeteria food. During the time that my sister was there, they had good nurses but she had to take certain medications, and they were providing the service, but could not do the ones for diabetes. They have a small gym, an excellent dining area, and a theater. They had great chefs and even made arrangements for diabetics."

"I will move into Sodalis Austin. It's outstanding. I couldn't be happier. They were just very, very professional. I met several staff members who were super nice. Everything just went well. The rooms and dining area were clean and spacious. I met the food services director - super nice. If everything goes and falls into place, this will be ideal. It's what I'm looking for. The staff who gave the tour was very professional. Stephanie was the director and also a nurse. She was very on the ball and compassionate. The facility was clean, neat, and smelled great. It's very nice because it's a square setup. So, the outside area is accessible from two or three different exits. It's very nice, spacious, and well-kept."

"I like Brookdale Beckett Meadows very much. It was very nice. They had a resident dog there. It seemed good. The staff was awesome. I saw some activities. They had a place where you can fold laundry if that made you happy or hold a baby."

"This place is absolutely gorgeous. Walking in and smelling the amazing food being made their smiling faces. As we walk to the model room was so clean and looks so clean. The owner was very friendly the staff where playing games Charisma truly from her heart cares. Thank you the springs of Austin this is now my mothers home."

"I toured Wells Point Lodge. The rooms were way too small for my budget. It's an older place. They have things going on. They had people moving around, so that was good. The staff was nice. They have a small patio. They have a grill and they get together, there's not much room. They invite family and everything, and there are only about 12 seats out there. The upkeep looked fine."

"A wonderful community where residents and associates are engaged with each other. The care I observed was compassionate and the community has been clean on every visit. It’s a new community so things felt very updated compared to older communities.I would highly recommend. "

"Village on the Park Onion Creek was chosen because my mother has an outside entrance with a patio -- we can go to the patio and visit her, so we don't have to go into the building -- and also the price. The main thing was the accessibility to visit. The staff members seem pretty nice. The room is quite large with a separate bedroom, nice windows, and a kitchenette. With COVID, the activities are extremely limited. They have exercise class, bingo, and she has joined a riders club. They were the nicest facility for the value."

"I like the fact that the rooms at Brookdale Round Rock were carpeted. It felt warmer and cozier. I liked that better. In general, it was very clean, very nice, and the staff was very nice also. I went at nap time, so it's kind of hard to tell about the actual residents, but everyone was fine. It was lovely. They have a nice little dining area there. The community area is smaller. It doesn't have a big TV area or anything. There are only 11 rooms, which is good, because there's a lot of individual care. It's very intimate. The residents' rooms are a good size. They're well laid out. They have a little kitchenette area with a little dorm-size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, and a sink. I know that's something that my aunt would appreciate, just to have her own snacks and stuff in there."

"I am currently staying at the assisted living facility of Brookdale Lakeway. It got ranked number one in the nation for assisted living. It's well taken care of, well-organized, and well-structured. They have all the amenities here. They include doctors, nurses, and support staff. They also have plenty of parking. They provide alarm systems throughout the building, and they provide you with an alarm clock that they respond to in a matter of minutes if you hit the button and are having trouble sorting out some difficulties. They're outstanding and very responsive. The rooms are nice. They're a studio apartment, more or less, with your own bathroom, and handicapped accessible. The room and everything else are good, with a small kitchenette and living space. They have chefs who prepare a variety of different meals each day. They try to tailor it well. They usually have a nice, healthy breakfast, and then soup for dinner. They try to give a variety of different things. They also have physical therapy here to work with us on strengthening our bodies and everything else. They have concerts and musicians, and they have activities during the day to get people active. They're working on their minds, and they're setting up trips. They have a shuttle service that takes people to a shop or a service to make sure they take the patient to the doctor. It is a little bit expensive. I think my monthly rate is a lot of money, and I'm trying so I can get it reduced somewhat, but it's not cheap. It includes my medication distribution, and they provide me with three meals a day, and things like that."

"My best friend's mom was at Brookdale Lohmans Crossing for a year. It was really good. I liked it. I took care of her when she was there. She had her nurses come and bring her medicines. If I needed them for whatever reason, I would call them. When the staff members see you, they say hi. If you needed anything, you could count on anyone to help you and bring you whatever you needed. They were just really nice. I would see them with other people, and everybody liked them. Everybody knew them. My friend's mom had her own keys. She could go in and out. The food was great. You could just get what you wanted. You could eat it there in the lunchroom or take it to your room. They had puzzles, bingo, a craft room, happy hours, movies, and a church. It was all great. They're too expensive for old folks. Another thing is that you can have your pets there. Either you can take them walking, or the nurses will take them walking for you. There's a walking area where you can walk around the building. If you didn't have a vehicle, you could get on the bus and go grocery shopping or to the stores."

"My family moved our father in back in July, and have been very happy with the service. Food is good; I get pictures of my dad dancing, exercising, and helping set the table. We are happy with our choice and feel dad is taken care of"
