The apt is lovely but the bathroom fails to consider simple needs of seniors: 1) easy access to shower, and 2) an effective toilet paper holder that doesn’t fall apart when it’s being used.

The apartments are beautiful and the activities are attractive, interesting and intelligent. However, safety security in apt bathrooms is deficient. The shower step-over is over 7” and the toilet paper holder easily falls apart. There is one lateral bar hold in the shower. It was explained that improvements in this area would be too expensive

The Farms at Bailey Station was excellent. It was a great facility and a great location. It was a new facility. We looked at some of the rooms available for independent living and they all were quite accommodating. The design was such that you could function there even if you had to need some assistance. We saw the exercise facilities and the dining hall. They served us lunch and the food was better than a lunch that I would get from any typical restaurant around. It was very good. The staff were very accommodating, very friendly, and very knowledgeable.
