"It's been about two years since I visited Friendship Village Chesterfield, and the layout was very good. It's very attractive housing. I was there for my rehab about three or four years ago after my back surgery. The people that worked in the rehab did an excellent job. They were very caring, and they were all very, very nice and helpful. The food was terrific. I was looking for independent living and a total life care experience."

"I just recently visited and selected Kingsland Walk as the next home for my mother. She is very excited about moving as she was very active prior to Covid. Now that she is no longer able to drive and live on her own she wants a facility that is nice and provides an opportunity to have a social life again. The staff was all very professional during and after my initial visit. We are working with them now to complete the intake process. Another rating to come post move in. "

"Autumn Ridge Residential Care and Senior Living was very nice and very well kept. They had one price that included everything, whether you need it or not. When I went there, they didn?t know I was coming, so that may be something they could improve on. "

"I moved into House Springs Apartments. It's a lovely place to live. Everybody around here is fun and happy. The manager here tells one person one thing and another person another thing. It's a wonderful place. The facility is nice, clean, and updated. I'm happy with the place, the apartment, and the surroundings. There are no food facilities here. You cook on your own. There is no housekeeping or anything like that. They have a nice yard. There's a crew that comes in once a week and cuts the grass. I'm very satisfied with the rent I pay."

"The staff here at Rosemont Senior Living Centre are very kind, neat, and professional. The food is good. It's home-cooked. The employees do everything on schedule and on time. They don't have a lot of physical activities, but they have bingo, Bible study, and things of that nature. There are a ton of restaurants and a hospital is just down the road. I'm just satisfied."

"Bethesda Terrace was very nice. It looks brand new. It's very clean and everything, but it didn't have everything that my friend was looking for and it was a lot smaller. They have a garden and a courtyard. I saw the dining area where there were plenty of people already eating and they were all smiling and happy. The staff was very helpful. The one lady who took me to a room and showed me was on her way out, but she stopped and took the time to take me to a room and showed me everything. So, that was very nice of her."

"My father is in Cedarhurst of Tesson Heights. It's close to my house and they outsource health nurses and that kind of stuff. If we needed a little bit more care, he could get that. He's in assisted living for right now. The staff was real caring when they talked to us and they helped us with the transition. They were very helpful. He said the food was the best food he had in any place and better than the rehabilitation place he was in. They don't have any activities right now because of Covid. I really like the facility. At first, I thought it was only concrete, but there's grass in between that's set up in the shape of an E. There are grassy areas, and they're animal friendly."

"I had an in-person tour of Magnolia Terrace. My sister's meals would be taken care of. I like that if she needs to go into memory care soon, she can move into that area. The staff answered all my questions and made me feel good about my choices. They were very nice. I saw the menu and all of the amenities they have. The facility was friendly and great. The atmosphere was pretty happy. The rooms were very nice and just the right size for one person."

"I really liked Primrose Retirement Community of Jefferson City. They had a lot of options. The people were very friendly. The place was very clean. It's one of the nicer, newer places in Jefferson City. They had a restaurant with choices, so it made people feel they weren't going to a nursing home cafeteria. They had one- and two-bedrooms, and villas with their own garage and fireplaces. There was a huge parking garage for those who were still independent. They had arts, drawing, painting, and all kinds of different exercise activities. They also had a fitness center but they did not have a pool which would have really made it perfect. They had a movie theater, hair salon and a bar. It's easily accessible with the seniors in mind."

"I love the amenities at Victorian Gardens. The staff was really nice. They had a pool, a big open area that they could have entertainment, and a theater. I did not like that there was not enough outdoor space. The residents said the food was really good. The rooms were nice, but some of them were a far walk to the amenities."

"Meramec Bluffs was very well-maintained. They had friendly people. There were large open areas and lots of services available just inside the building. Transportation sounded good. The green space looked good as well. The staff was very attentive and seemed like they were happy to be there. They've got a full time personal trainer to help with any needs you might have, whether it's just exercise classes or other stuff. They also had a gym, different apartments, a swimming pool, a hair salon, a bank, and a doctor's office. I saw everything that was there. The tour was really, really good."

"I have seen all three levels in Aberdeen Heights. I had a friend who stayed in the independent living, in the assisted living, and rehab. It was excellent, but very expensive for an average person. You have to be very wealthy to live there. The facility looked amazing. The staff was amazing. It was like living in a grand hotel.They have independent menus with a large selection of food, and it's delicious. They have every kind of activity, like they take them everywhere."
