"I visited Jackson Meadow. It had a beautiful dining room, and they actually had, like, a butler that would come to serve you your bread. I had eaten there, and the food was good. It was very nice. You could have a studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartment. I had been in the one-bedroom and the two-bedroom apartments. They were very nice, very clean and in good size, but like I said, I wanted a kitchen. They had a kitchen downstairs, where you could go down and cook if you wanted, but I do not want to cook downstairs. If you got an apartment there, it included a meal plan, and I do not need that, at least not now. They had lots of activities. They kept them very busy. "

"I visited a little condo my aunt has at Jackson Oaks. I used to come down there at least once a week or every two weeks and spend the day, sometimes the night with her. She lives alone in her little space. If I were going out looking for a place for me, I would definitely look at this one. It has a gym, which has a little place so people can watch me. I can try something new and never fall, and somebody's out there to help me. It has a very large dining area. It is really clean. It is set up like one at home. The food that I ate was good. Sometimes, they have a salad bar, and if they have fish, that's usually a buffet style. You can get all the fish you want. They have an area that they provide for women. They actually have weight training. The staff is definitely helpful. "

"Wesley Jackson Highlands is two stories high. It has two different wings and a main hall in the middle. They have an activity room. I have relatives who live here, so they know me, and I know them. They have a walk area. It’s nice and quiet. The apartment has a living area, a bedroom, and a bath. I would recommend this facility to other people. I like the fact that this facility is secluded, because I don’t like crowds. They have good security at this facility. "

"When it came to the point where my mom couldn't live by herself anymore I think everyone was upset and pictured the worse. We checked into several places before we found St. Marys. My mom has her own room with a balcony, which is awesome because she loves the outdoors. Its like her own little house with nurses avalible if needed. They have jobs they do which gets you out to meet the other resisdents and gives her something to do because sitting around has never been her thing. The staff is great and they treat my mom with the upmost respect. She still is able to have her independance without the worry of her needed someone and not being able to get the help she needs. Our main concern with her moving into a place like this was her happiness and to be honest I think shes happier than shes been in a long time. She eats good, has a clean house and has friends within a very short walking distance. I would and have recommend St. Marys to everyone. It costs a little more but seeing my mom happy is worth alot more than that little bit of money. "

"Heritage Towers was very spacious and clean. All the residents there were helpful and kind. The lady who was running the place was very informative and caring. They had a community room where they had a Wi-Fi hotspot. So you could go down there and use a computer if you didn't have it in your room. They had classes two or three times a week on different things, like arts and crafts. They have people come in and do seminars, which is cool. Other than that, there was no weight room. The facility is within a university complex, so the university is letting the old people that live there use all of their facilities. Everything is right there at the university, and it's all within walking distance. You can go to the cafeteria at the university. You have to pay for it, but it was cheap."
