When it came to the point where my mom couldn't live by herself anymore I think everyone was upset and pictured the worse. We checked into several places before we found St. Marys. My mom has her own room with a balcony, which is awesome because she loves the outdoors. Its like her own little house with nurses avalible if needed. They have jobs they do which gets you out to meet the other resisdents and gives her something to do because sitting around has never been her thing. The staff is great and they treat my mom with the upmost respect. She still is able to have her independance without the worry of her needed someone and not being able to get the help she needs. Our main concern with her moving into a place like this was her happiness and to be honest I think shes happier than shes been in a long time. She eats good, has a clean house and has friends within a very short walking distance. I would and have recommend St. Marys to everyone. It costs a little more but seeing my mom happy is worth alot more than that little bit of money.
