I toured Wellington Manor Jackson. The rooms to me were spacious, and I liked the way that they were designed for two-person living. I also like the way that they manage the facilities. From the time I was there, it seemed that they were on top of the cleanliness and the activities for the seniors. I would definitely rate the director as a five. She really cares about the job that she has and the people. It goes beyond just people who are there in her facility; she cares about people in general, making sure that they have the best for themselves. That's what really convinced me that that would be a place for my sister because she was attentive to detail and very caring. I have been to other facilities, not just in Tennessee, and one of the things I always notice is the smell of urine, for example. There was nothing like that in this facility.

I visited Wellington Manor Jackson's assisted living. Everything was pretty much laid out and organized. It had more than enough space and the right amount of light. It wasn't dark in any spots. As for the workers I came across, they were nice. They made me feel welcome. It seemed like a good place to send a loved one to. I didn't see anything bad about them. It's good that it wasn't far away for anybody, too. The location is good. I didn't see the activities, but I went over the schedule that they have for the residents to do every day. They wake them up and do activities with them, as outlined in the schedule they put out. The rooms had a nice amount of space, and everything was secure. It was just perfect.

My friend has moved into Wellington Manor Jackson. She's in memory care. It's clean. It's positive. The people are engaged. It's the best place out of all the places that I looked. It was hands down, the best one. My experience with the staff was good. I have seen activities, and I liked it.
