Sycamore Ridge Gracious Retirement Living

My wife and I lived at Sycamore Ridge for about three months. We enjoyed our time there. The reason that we left there is that my sister, who was in Florida, her husband had passed away, and her children were deceased, and so we brought her to live with us. We left Sycamore Ridge because we had a one-bedroom apartment, and we needed to find a facility with two-bedrooms, so we chose to move to the apartment complex across the street from Sycamore Ridge in a two-bedroom apartment so that she could live with us. We enjoyed three meals a day at Sycamore Ridge. We enjoyed their facility. The apartment size was small, but the price was high for such a small space. I did not like the fact that they did not have a washer and dryer in the apartments. They have a community washer and dryer, though. I enjoyed their exercise program. Their activities were well organized and enjoyable. However, like anyone else, there is always room for improvement with the food.

I toured Sycamore Ridge Gracious Retirement Living. We pretty much like everything about it. We had a pretty good trip through the place. The girl who helped us was really nice and knowledgeable They have a refrigerator and a microwave in the apartment. They don't have a full stove or a full kitchen. You could have a toaster oven if you wanted to bring one, but that's about it. They have three meals, so you don't really need all that unless you want to fix a snack or something for yourself. They have an exercise room and a beauty salon. They have activities, a bus that takes you shopping and to doctors' appointments. We had lunch there, and it was good. The place is in good condition. It is just a year old, and that's perfect.

I visited Sycamore Ridge Gracious Retirement Living. They were very friendly. The staff took me and showed me the apartment and also showed me the balcony from the apartment and they had the elevators to take us up and down. She's very nice and it's very nice. They have a library and a mailroom. The grounds were very nice.

I toured Sycamore Ridge Gracious Retirement Living. They were very nice. The rooms and the amenities were also nice. What I want right now is one where I can start in independent living because I can take care of myself right now. But I'd like to know that I could step down to the assisted living when I need to. There was not any step down there, and that is something that I didn't like about it. Other than that, I was impressed with it. It was clean. The staff member who took us on the tour was very nice. We had a meal there and it was very good and very healthy. It would make me be healthy. They said you have the option of choosing your dessert, and I ordered a lemon square, and it was only about an inch on each side. I know that they're trying to do what's healthy for you. It was very well prepared and I would approve of that.
