My mother-in-law was at The Springs at Lancaster Village for four days. The staff members were welcoming and made the transition easy. My mom's room was good. The communication was excellent. The facility was very well-maintained and had a welcoming environment. Everything was nice, but we didn't use any of the amenities. The staff was supportive and attentive.

AL 1 is consistently understaffed. Staff who disobey State mandates during the pandemic, are rude to family and residents, medications given improperly or not at all, staff yell at each other at the front desk and management does nothing. Good staff leave while terrible staff train new people, teaching poor habits and standards of care.

The Springs at Lancaster Village was very nicely done. The room was very roomy. It had a nice kitchenette with very good storage. They showed us some exercise classes and a schedule of other activities. The staff was excellent. It had a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

I toured The Springs at Lancaster Village and one of the main things, especially reinforced by the fact that I screwed up my knee, is that it's flat. It doesn't have a view, but it's walkable and has flat sidewalks. I'm on a waiting list currently, so we'll have to see how it turns out. The staff was very nice and friendly. They have an exercise class three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's centrally located here in Salem, so that was important to me. I'm currently living way out south, and it's just not working out as well as I hoped it would. A one-meal plan is what I would like. I still have to decide what the one meal will be, but I'll go over to the dining room for one meal and do the other two on my own. They have housekeeping once a week and I'm not sure how thorough it is, but I have a caregiver, housekeeper, dog walker, and a woman of all talents especially 'til my knee heals up. So, I'm not too worried about what kind of help they have. I've heard it's just like everywhere. You have to go in with a smart head and open eyes because it's never the storybook you think it's going to be. But the people are friendly, and I'll have to see how it goes. Covid changes things. They've gone through shut down, open up, then shut down and open up in the common rooms. The cottages are nice, but people are living in them, so you don't get to see very much right away.

I visited Lancaster Village. I was very impressed by the food, and the staff was topnotch. They were just a little bit more than I wanted to pay, so I didn't choose that. It's a little more upscale than the other two I visited. The facility was a little older. I thought the food was a little better, but it's more expensive. It seemed very well maintained.

I liked Lancaster Village. The cottages were nice, well kept, and it was in a quiet area, but they did not have garages. The staff was very informative, very pleasant, personable, and upbeat. The owner lives on the premises, they have some exercise equipment, and they have a library.

Lancaster Village is a really good place and the food is really good. They're friendly and very well-organized. The place is very well-maintained. My parents are already living there. The activities are wonderful, well-organized, and they have a lot. They have a beauty shop and somebody who comes and does nails and pedicures by appointment.

My mother is doing very well there at Lancaster Village. It's a very nice place. She's being taken care of really well. They're caring people. Her room is small, but it's carpeted and very clean and looks out onto a nice grassy area outside her large window. She has enough of what she needs, and has her bed and pieces of furniture, her favorite chair, a small kitchen, and a refrigerator and a sink. She eats down in the community room with all the other people. She's has a nice, fairly large bathroom with shower. I sat with her one day with lunch and they had potato oyster soup, which looked really good. They had a burrito, cookies afterwards for dessert and Jell-o or a salad with every meal. It has a homey look to it.

I visited Lancaster Village for my parents. It seemed nice but my parents didn't like it as much. The rooms were clean but they were a lot smaller and looked more outdated. The facility was darker. When you go in their hallway, it just seemed darker because, I think, it was an older facility.

The staff seemed very helpful and cheerful, and they knew the residents at Lancaster Village. The studio apartment has a mini kitchen, and it looked like comfortable. It contained her bed, a few extra chairs, and a television. There’s a variety of food at each meal that you can choose from. The dining room is clean and spacious, with large windows and a very sunny atmosphere. It looks quite secured. The doors are locked at 7 at night, and it has a buzzer to let you in. They have a variety of activities like card games, exercise classes, and church services. They have someone who comes around and does manicures.

Lancaster Village was where we were going to have mom live, but there was just something like a gut feeling about it that I can't explain. It is nice, and it is a place we would consider. It is a very nice place, but there was just something that I didn't think she would fit in there. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly.
