We are five-star caring home our caregivers, very educated and trained. We do have two RNs on call if needed. We are a 24-hour care home. We are experienced with all care. Very nice and clean home. We have a really nice backyard with the fruit trees where our residents can go and walk on a nice day. We have two covered patios. Its good for any weather to be outside. Our residents always do activities if they want too, summer time we have vegetable garden, some of our residents like to work in the garden. "I live in Pheasant Pointe, and it is very nice. We have large individual rooms. I live in a studio apartment which is just the right size for me. The caregivers are excellent. I can't have asked for better caregivers because they are very good. The food here sometimes is very good and sometimes not so good. They have a lot of things to do, and we have a brand new activities person that does activities with us. There is bingo and crafts, and they take us to movies and shopping. "

"I visited Brookdale, and we liked it very much. Everybody was friendly. The rooms were good, but there weren't any openings at that time. "

"Prestige Senior Living is a very nice place. We didn't choose that because it is assisted living, and my mother doesn't need that yet. The rooms are really nice. It is very spacious too. The dining room is nice looking and very welcoming. I am very impressed with that place. The staff that assisted us was very nice and very pleasant. All the places we visited have very helpful staff. I like the grounds, and I like that they have a lot of park type settings. It is very welcoming. "

"We have moved into Redwood Heights. It's outstanding. It's very good. They're excellent. The staff is great. The food is good. We haven't been here really long enough to get all the activities, but there are exercise classes, trips, and walks. A lot of them I can't participate in because I don't walk anymore. I have to use a wheelchair. It is available if you want to. There are exercise rooms. We are in a very spacious room. There is a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom on the opposite side, and then in the middle is a little kitchenette. There is no stove, but there is a refrigerator, and there is lots of storage. You can get food at any time of the day. If you get hungry, they're very good about helping you out. The staff that we have dealt with have been more than willing to help us do things. Like my daughter has just come back from the grocery store, but we couldn't go out. They put my groceries on a cart, wheel them down to my room, and put them away for us. The food has been excellent. There are three meals a day. They serve them in my room. Sometimes it's a little late. I'm diabetic and I have to keep a schedule. They could be served just a little bit sooner, but they're working their tail off. The facility is well kept. It appears to be new. Any assisted living is expensive and we're at the bottom of the scale right now where we mostly take care of ourselves, but we need a little bit of help."

"My wife and my sister did a lot of research about Regency Woodland. It's fairly elegant, very clean, and they offer an al a carte system of care. She used to live in a really elegant care facility, but she got to the point where they couldn't care for her anymore. But here, if mom gets worse they'll be able to provide more advance nursing services. The staff is very helpful. One of the reasons we liked this facility is it's actually much smaller and doesn't have that many patients or rooms, so they can give patients more individual attention. "

"Brookdale Wilsonville was nice. When you walk in, it's very open and friendly. The staff there was really good. I liked the rooms better, just the layout and the design of them. Everyone was super friendly when you first walked in. The people that were living there were very friendly. They had a garden area, which was a little farther away and that's the only thing. For most residents, it's a little jaunt across the parking lot to get to it, but other than that, it was good. They had a nice dining room, a good TV/movie space, a lot of people out doing games and playing cards and stuff in a lot of the areas, so it was nice. They had a nice fireplace, a piano, a library, and a reading room."

"What I like best about Briden Kinder Care is that it's well-kept and they have friendly staff. What I like least is that their driveways is really steep. We did not taste the food, but the food smelled good. The facility was very nice. The rooms were good. They're adequate or better. When I stepped in it felt warm and homey."

"We fell in love with the apartment at Fircrest Senior Living. It's beautiful and had a balcony that overlooked the airport of McMinnville. The manager was absolutely fabulous, very friendly, open, led us around, and wants us there. We can take our dog, which is important. They showed me a two-bedroom, but my dad is moving into a studio this coming weekend. They offered three meals a day and had transportation to shopping, doctors, and planned outings. It's the best price for a beautiful, brand-new apartment. The kitchen was all done in stainless steel."

"We toured. It was very clean and very nice. It was just that one problem: I'm not sure if my mom would like to have someone in the room with her on certain days, so I think it would be better if she were alone. It's nothing against the facility. It's with the situation that we have. The physical appearance was very nice. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. I don't remember their names, but they were very nice. The only problem we had was they only have two people per unit and that was not going to work for us."

"My husband is here. I liked the place. I don’t have any mixed feelings about it at all. He’s very well taken care of. He’s in such bad shape that there’s nothing more that can be done for him other than what they do, and they always have things going to keep their minds going. "

"My husband just moved in. Everything seems to be going pretty good. They were gonna transfer him at one point to another room, to a studio, and that took a little longer than what we expected, but they had some other people to move him in. I think they're pretty good. I didn't get to go into the facility because everything was shut down, but we talked, and she showed me a sketching of the rooms that they had, and then she walked me around. I could look in the window and see the room, and we went outside. She also told me that there were hummingbirds around. So I brought a stake, and they put that up in front of the window, and I brought up a hummingbird feeder, and they filled it and put it up, so he could watch the hummingbirds; I thought that was so sweet. The food is fine. He hasn't complained a bit, and he loves food. They even allow pets after this opens up, but they do have some restrictions, so I can take our dog up there too, so that's a plus. They do have activities. They have bingo and exercises. I think it's a little expensive, that my husband needs extra care, so I have to pay extra for that, and it's quite a bit."
