"I was very impressed with them. It was clean. The manager gave me a tour, and she knew every individual that lives there by their first name and what activities they were involved in. They were getting ready to serve lunch as my tour was finishing up, and the food smelled and looked good. They all had full plates of food in front of them; there were generous servings. I was very impressed with the place. The room that I looked at was empty. Either each unit has its own bathroom or it's a Jack-and-Jill bathroom shared by only two residents as opposed to a group bathroom. I thought that was nice; there's better privacy. It sounded like they had a lot of activities. They do crafts, and they take the people who are able out on community outings like to the local swimming pool. The common areas were clean and well-appointed. I was told that they have a beauty parlor on the second floor with an elevator for access. The facilities were very good."

"Country Meadows Village was very nice except that it was too huge for me. I have a daughter in Germany and they do not provide any accommodation for her when she comes for vacation. That was one of the problems I had with them, and then they were so huge that you'd get lost in there. I like the lady who visited with me. She was terrific. She was very, very nice. We had this good rapport. I wouldn't say that they are completely out of the picture because the location is very good for me, but I felt lost in there. She was absolutely one of the nicest people who showed me places. The rooms were nice. She showed me a one-bedroom that was quite acceptable and very nice, but it was a little small for me. We didn't get even into the two-bedroom. They were remodeling when I was there. That shouldn't be a problem at all. It's big enough that you can find something you want if the price is right. They have a salon and a gym. They have everything you could want at my age."

"My parents are at Homewood Heights. They have a nice staff. I'm there to visit my parents, but I have a very good rapport with the manager. The front desk lady is great. Everybody that you talk to is very helpful and friendly. I think some of the food is really good, but some of them I don't like so much. They have a lot of activities. My mom does the word games, the exercises, and the vine master. She likes it all; she likes the brain challenge games. The place has 42 rooms. It is a small group of people, so it is very much like a community, and that's what my parents like."

"I liked the feeling of Emeritus when I went in. I like the environment. It seemed really light and bright and the people are friendly. I also like the location because it's close to I-5, so I can get to my father easily. I just had a genuine, good feeling when I went in. Dad went there November and he came back January. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When I had an issue, they were quick to addressed it. I felt they're interested in trying to alleviate my concerns. "

"My disabled Mom had maggots and flies in her room, so needless to say the housekeeping is non existent. They find a way to blame the resident for all of the staff's shortcomings. "

"My husband is here. I liked the place. I don’t have any mixed feelings about it at all. He’s very well taken care of. He’s in such bad shape that there’s nothing more that can be done for him other than what they do, and they always have things going to keep their minds going. "

"My mom went to look. They're really sweet people there. It's a really, really good place. Their facility was really great, but it seemed to be more for people that really needed assisted living more than what my mom needs. It also didn't have what she wanted. It was too inconvenient for her; it was too chaotic. Like she has to take an elevator to different floors, and that really bothers her. They're just so super people. It's very clean and very beautiful."

"Markham House is a very lovely place. It has nice landscaping, it's pleasant inside, and the people seem very happy. It's half a mile from where we live. We had lunch there and the food was excellent. They don't just serve lunch, but you can order off of a menu. My husband is gluten intolerant, and so he has to be really careful with what he eats. But he knows enough about it by now after 35 years. The staff we're in touch with were very nice. We know one of the nurses there personally for years. But everybody seems very pleasant, nice and cooperative, and helpful as far as answering questions. We asked for an apartment. The reason we haven't moved in yet is because there were no apartments and they only had a studio. There was nothing available at that time. So we're waiting for an opening. "

"Cedar Village was undergoing management change and I thought it was deteriorating. However, they had activities director and they do bingo. They had a bus that takes people out. They had concerts for the people that live there. "

"Arcadia Senior Living was a brand-new community when we moved our loved ones in. It is very clean, and the layout is very open. The staff is helpful and seems to have good attitude, there's a lot of turnover though. The food is fine, although their vegetables are kind of hard to chew."

"It is totally accommodating, perfectly clean, and beautiful. The food is wonderful and the staff is excellent. I have been there almost every day to visit my friend and we love it. I couldn't be more impressed. My friend's room has huge windows and high ceilings."

"My Mother was only there for 5 weeks, before passing away, but the staff at iHome Care took such good care of her and were so supportive to me during her end of life stages. Together with hospice services my Mom had a peaceful passing. In the short time I got to know so many of the caregivers by name and they loved my Mom. Even the administrator, Jordan came and checked in on my Mom though I know he had a busy schedule. It is such a caring and loving environment. I'm so glad I found this place. No activities during the pandemic but I understand they will resume activities in the future. "

"We had mom at Edgewood Point for a couple of weeks only, but it was a wonderful place. They seemed to be very good about caring for people and it was a nice and clean facility. They treated mom very well and even though she wasn’t thrilled to be there, they still tried to work very well with her. Her room was nice. Mom was able to participate in a lot of things even for her short stay. We were not able to eat there, but mom seemed to like it because she was able to eat all the food that was given to her. "

We are five-star caring home our caregivers, very educated and trained. We do have two RNs on call if needed. We are a 24-hour care home. We are experienced with all care. Very nice and clean home. We have a really nice backyard with the fruit trees where our residents can go and walk on a nice day. We have two covered patios. Its good for any weather to be outside. Our residents always do activities if they want too, summer time we have vegetable garden, some of our residents like to work in the garden.
