We had a family member Aug. 2017 transfer from hospital care after surgery into Providence Benedictine Care Center. The staff in intermediate care were delightfully personable and kind although lacked obvious training in dealing specifically with patients just being transported from a hospital setting. Family immediately removed patient from care facility worried about the level of potentiality of falls & other health/safety concerns.

We like Providence Benedictine as it was all in the ground floor. The place that we look was short distance from the dining room, and the grounds were really well kept. There was lots of room to do things outside and walk, and they could take dogs. The sister that took us to the tour was pleasant.

My mom was moved from the rehabilitation center to Orchard House & Garden Homes. We chose the place because it was near my dad, so he could talk to her everyday. Eventually, we also transferred my dad there. The staff were good to them and helped with their needs. The apartment we got seemed to work out for both of them. They could walk around the facility if the weather was good. The food needs to be improved though.

My husband was in Providence Benedictine Nursing Center. I thought it was excellent. He's got excellent care, he liked it there. He had a stroke and they had worked with him in therapy and he was happy that I was happy. I would recommend this facility for anybody that's needing a nursing home. They're very caring, efficient, knowledgeable and skilled. My husband was real critical about most things, but he liked it there.
