Assisted Living Communities in Grove City, OH

"I went to look at Wexner Heritage Village - Creekside at The Village. The place was very clean. The staff was wonderful. The lady who greeted us was kind of not wonderful. But the lady who runs it was very informative, great to talk to, and answered a lot of questions. It was a very nice place. I saw the menu, but I did not try anything on it. They took us around and showed us the apartments, which were very nice. They were having a little concert downstairs, which was nice to see as well. It was almost like a hotel."

"I visited the assisted living facility of Bickford of Bexley, and it was fine. They just have a lot of stuff there, so it looks kind of cluttered, and for older people, I don't think that's good. Other than that, the rooms were of average size, and they're clean. The staff members and the person who gave the tour were nice. The dining area was nice, and it had plenty of room. It also looked clean. The amenities looked decent, too."

"The Coventry Senior Living was a very new facility. So, it was in good shape and it was beautiful inside. They had a huge library space when you walk in. The lobby was nice, too. The person who took me on the tour was very thorough and very friendly. I felt like they answered all my questions. It was a place where I felt like I could put my parents and feel good about it."

"I went to look at Bickford of Upper Arlington. They had a very nice area for the cafeteria. All of the staff there were very friendly. They were all one task, and that's one thing that I appreciated. When you walked in, you first walked into what they called the living area. It was a nice size. You had to bring your own furniture, but there was plenty of room where you could have a love seat and a place to put your TV. The bedroom was just a little bit smaller, but it certainly would accommodate a full-size bed, a chest of drawers, and a nightstand. They had two very nice-sized closets. The bathroom was small. The staff was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Their meals were excellent. It was all home-cooked. They provide fresh bread for every meal. They gave us a sample luncheon, and the chicken was extremely good, tender, and seasoned lightly. The presentation was wonderful, too. The facility was clean. The only thing on the memory care floor was that the actual area where the residents would gather was a little tight. There was a small room in which they did puzzles. There was a long hallway with chairs and sofas where they gathered. If you wanted to watch TV outside your own room, you had to go to the other end of the hall."

"I like the atmosphere and the staff at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing. They were very friendly, but they were also knowledgeable and caring about my concerns and questions, and thoroughly went over everything. I like the cleanliness and the tours of everything I saw from just walking into the reception area to the dining area, the recreational facilities, and all the amenities that they offer. Also, I like that it's five minutes from my house. Their studio has a full bath with a walk-in shower. There is a microwave, a refrigerator, cable TV, and internet. They provide three meals a day and they have a private dining room if the family wants to come in and bring food or they would cater food for you to have with the family alone. Everybody that I encountered there was very friendly."

"I’m so thankful for my home here and the friends I have made, as well as those I knew before coming. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome here. Thank you also to all the staff who have been so helpful in getting me settled in my new home. "

"We visited the Carriage Court of Hilliard. It was not as spacious as the other facility. The room was very tiny and dark. It wasn't brightly lit. I didn't even see a window in that room. The bathroom was nice-sized. They had a nice area where people could gather. They had tables and chairs out there, but it also served as their dining area. The staff was very informative and came out with pricing right up front, which I certainly appreciated. They told us what to expect as far as what my sister's regression might be and what the adjustment period might be for her. The facility seemed clean. The facility itself on the outside was fine. You had to supply your own furniture."

"My mom was moved here after a stay in another facility. It is a night and day experience. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are very helpful and have exceeded my expectations.She has only been here a few weeks and out of quarantine a few and days. But as a family member I feel she is going to be well cared for. "

"We were very happy with The Forum at Knightsbridge. It looked really good. We were very happy with the people who we met. They were very friendly and very professional. There seemed to be plenty of people there to take care of my mother. "

"I was very impressed with The Ashford on Broad. I was welcomed well, and the person who showed me through was very kind and answered all my questions. The place looked lovely. I've been to some other ones, and this was more reasonably priced. I saw people in the gathering areas, and they had a very nice events calendar. The rooms were very nice, too."

"My father moved to Cherry Blossom Senior Living. I very much like the facility. They are very communicative. We keep in touch quite often, which I very much appreciate with the lockdown; that's a very important thing. I think the room is appropriately sized for him. I think he wanted something a little bigger, but he doesn't really need anything bigger. It doesn't look like you're in any kind of facility. It doesn't look like you're in a hospital or anything like that. So, it's cozy. He likes the food. He's a little bit immobile, so he can't participate in all of the activities, but he does get frequent visits. I know they have a theatre, a courtyard, and a bistro like a food place. They do have a bar for happy hour and that is all I'm personally aware of. They could have more, but I'm not totally sure. I very much like their layout. I like the facility. I like the inside. It's a brand-new facility, so everything looks very new and modern."

"Great place to live. Staff is great. Residents have a voice. Many activities to do. "

"I toured the independent living side of Brookdale Trillium Crossing. They didn't believe that my father-in-law needed the assisted living and that their assisted living options were limited. It's very immaculate and by far the largest place that I toured. They have a large amount of staff members. The apartment that I saw was on a higher level and it was set up very similar to the apartment that I live in now. When you walk in, there's a galley kitchen, and then past that is a large living room. It was spacious, but it wasn't decorated or anything. The person during the tour seemed friendly and personable. They showed me the different activities they offer. They have a library, a pool, a store, and a bar where they do happy hour and entertainment."

"I went to tour and it was very friendly with very warm people. The staff are very nice and pleasant. Everything was lovely during the visit."
