"I toured the Dumont Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. On every floor we were taken to, I didn't see any discrepancies. We were taken to the memory care division. It looked like it was a clean place, so I have no complaints. The staff member who gave the tour was not knowledgeable, but the person they claimed we were supposed to see had something else to do, so they put another person on to take us around. He was OK. If we had another person who normally does it, we'd get more information on him, but it wasn't bad. It was OK. It looked like a clean area. I didn't see anything wrong with the rooms they showed us and that we passed through, but I peeked, and they looked well-kept. They showed us different rooms. They showed us one-on-one, and then we saw two-on-two. I mean two people in a room, and we saw one person in the room. So it was OK."

"My husband is going to rehab at Dry Harbor Nursing Home for over a month now. I've been there a few times. I live close to it, so I picked that one. I don't have any problems there. It's still a nursing home regardless. The rehab is good, that's why he's there, and everybody seems fine. It's a good place and it's decent. If there's something wrong, they call a doctor. There are doctors there, but not all the time, and they have nurses there as well. Under the circumstances, they really do great. It's hard sometimes if they're a little shorthanded and they're very busy, but I have no problem with them. They're pretty good. The rooms are good because I get a private room and I pay a little extra for it. The food is good -- it's never going to be like home, but it's good and they try and balance the meal. It works for me, it's close to my home, and I know everybody there by now because I've been in and out a few times. They always have something going on or something downstairs, and they really do try, but it's not for everybody."

"Berkshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is more suited to my father. He requires nursing home care, and the staff is doing a good job. They're helping him with his needs. I don't have any complaints. The nurse comes into his room because he has to be handfed. There were a couple of incidences where he had to have boots on his feet, and they weren't there. Otherwise, they're very careful and they're very safe. They're taking care of him, and they work very hard. It's not as pretty as the other facilities, but it's not bad. It's more of a nursing home, and it's very reasonable."

"My entire experience from calling the admissions office to place my mother, to calling the Social Work department to discharge her was smooth and seamless. The admissions girls really helped calm me down when I was feeling uncertain and the social work department truly went the extra mile to help me get mom home before the holidays. I will forever be grateful for the rehab team for getting my mom up every day and back on her feet. Thank you east neck for bringing my mom back to life! "

The nursing staff on the weekend is not the greatest but compared to other places this is like a 4 star hotel. I would put my mother here again for sure. The rooms are huge. "
