"My husband was in Picayune Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. I've been there a bunch of times. The people were marvelous. It was very clean, but it's a very old place. They had so much help and the people were very helpful. The place was clean. There was no odor or anything. It was a great place. If he could have stayed in that State, we wouldn't have moved him. We would've kept him there, but Medicaid wouldn't let him stay there. I didn't taste their food, but it looked good. He's picky and he ate the food. They had him get up and pull himself up and walk, that type of thing. They had him sitting in a wheelchair and using his feet to walk to make himself go. They had him doing word search puzzles and he loved doing that. They're reasonable. He stayed three days extra because the insurance had run out and we couldn't get him moved. They charged $230 a day, which I thought was great. Everybody was very happy. Even the people who worked there were all friendly and seemed happy and kept the patients talking and laughing. I thought it was a great place. I wish he could have stayed there."

"We did not like Trinity Trace Community Care Center. They weren't there enough for my father and they didn't give him enough therapy. The food was OK, but some of it was not. The physical appearance of the facility was nice, but the coffee machines and the ice cream machines were always broken. He'd press the red button and they'd come in a half an hour later. Many times, they just were sitting in the cafeteria talking, or on the phones and laughing. I'd have to go out into the cafeteria to go get someone."

"Bright, clean facility. Very caring staff of nurses, aids, physical, speech and occupational therapists. The administrative staff are the great. My adult daughter entered this facility flat on her back due to MS and neglect. In a few weeks she was cheerful, happy and able to walk with a walker. More work still needs to be done, but they have done a super job so far. Thank you, one and all."

"We moved my mom to Heritage Manor of Mandeville 3 weeks ago. We chose it because it's a small facility. The staff is great. They are right there all the time. They have bingo games, puzzles, and crafts. They have a courtyard. The parking lot is kind of small. But other than that, everything's great."

"The rooms are clean The residents has been taken care of due this pandemic. Family members can call and speak with their family members too. You are allowed to see them from the window. My family seems cared for each time is visit. There are some wonderful nurses and aids caring for the residents during the COVID19 pandemic. I think an outside gazebo would be an idea place to take the residents members to get vitamin K. The facility is normally decorated for the holidays and really makes the residents very happy."

"I am blessed to have my mother in this home and she loves it. Ms. Lynn the activity director takes time for my mother and so many others there. She has made the tansition easy for our family.God Bless You Ms. Lynn. Nursing and CNA's are very helpful although at times I can't find them. The food is wonderful I am not sure of the directors name but he does a great job. Woodland Village is a wonderful place because of the wonderful people that work there. "

"My mother will be moving into Christwood, and she's going to be in independent living. I like the fact that it is so welcoming. It offers a buddy system right off the bat so that my mom can learn how to get around and meet people. It has tons of activities for her. For my mother, they have Bridge, singing, dancing, acting, choir, and writing, the things she's most interested in. We had lunch there. They have several places, and we ate in the cafe and it was delicious. The food was very good. The staff was super friendly and super helpful. It was beautiful, clean, organized, and easy to get around."

"I liked the cleanliness and friendliness of Forest Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. Everybody and all the services that they offer were good. The rooms were really nice. It's not too old of a facility. So, everything was updated and modernized. The rooms were big that you could bring some of your own furniture in. They had a big courtyard and several different common areas with couches and furniture where several people could come to visit. It's just an overall great tour experience."

"My mom was at Dunbar Village for rehab last year. She seemed to have a high opinion of the staff, being friendly and helpful. The gym that they had for rehab was basic; it wasn't that fantastic. They got the people gather for community type of stuff, like on holidays and all that. They made it a big deal about decorating the place, and she enjoyed that. Overall, she said it was a friendly and good experience. I never really got to go in, but when we visited her, they had a front lobby as a visiting area due to COVID. She was on the ground floor, so you could go in, look in and wave to her. The room looked nice. The place looked clean and neat, too. It was in a relaxing area and not an overly busy main street. There was greenery around, they kept the outside lawn manicured, just a neighborhood kind of thing. She loved the food. She said breakfast wasn't that much, but lunch and dinner were normally outstanding."

"The reviews listed on this site are very old and are out of date. The facility is named St. Bernard Nursing and Rehab and the care is great! My aunt just completed her therapy and is back home and can't stop praising the staff there. She is very appreciative of how kind and friendly everyone is and wants to go back there to volunteer as soon as she can. The facility deserves the 5 stars from me. "

"My dad will be moving into the Jo Ellen Smith Living Center. It was convenient to get to because of the location. It's near our home. They have a caring staff. The facility was very clean and organized. They have some activities to keep him engaged, and he can socialize there. The staff members were very knowledgeable, and caring, and answered all of our questions. They were engaged in the process. They have everything that my dad needs to socialize and engage with others. They have a salon and an entertainment room. They have bingo and all kinds of activities."

"I had two family members at ST Margaret’s for rehab with in weeks of each other. Both got excellent care. The rooms were private and clean and all rehab rooms have been upgraded with television and cable. I toured other nursing homes and this one was by far the most home like. The staff were very accommodating and lovely. "

"The atmoshpere at St. Lukes is very apeasing. When I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist who asked if I needed any assistance in finding who I was there for. The food is better than most long-term care facilities that I have visited before, and most of the residents looked happy and well takwn care of. There were not a bunch of residents just sitting in there chairs in the hallways, like I have seen at other facilities in the past. Daily activities such as art projects, piano playing and knitting are options patients have to stay entertained. I noticed many people playing cards together in the main area that residents can conviene in. The overall experience was a good one. I will return again in the fall and I hope to see things as they were last visit. "

"I have been visiting a family friend at this facility for several months. I have visited this facility different times of the day and have consistently noticed how clean the facility was. The patient care and attention to the details of daily service within the facility is the exception, not the rule of what one could expect. Best regards Tommy"
