Wasn’t to much impressed with the building or some of the equipment because needs serious repairs, such as roof leaks equipment in Rehabatation center needs serious upgrade. That’s why I give it 4 stars but on the other hand the people are so professional and compassionate, willing to help you in anyway; they really made my stay worth while. Nurses, Therapists, CNAs, Activity and Social Worker was 5 Star +. Nurse Kristin, Ms. Andrews and Felicia was very professional, as well as Ms. Aubrey, Mrs. Andrea, Mrs. Tammy, Ms Amanda, Mrs Katie and Mrs. Cadence in Therapy was really good; some of the best I have seen. Activity Director Mrs. June and Crew was always on the spot and keep everyone cheered up. I was really amazed with what the Staff could do with so little. Administration really need to step up and give recognition to all of these people for a job very well done.

I would not, again, place a loved one for rehab. In this facility! My husband was sent there from the hospital for rehab. When I got there to wait for him, I realized what a mistake it was. It took me days to get him moved! As a retired RN, BSN, I was appalled by the conditions there and feel guilty for not visiting before he was assigned to go there.. it smells terrible which tells me the patients and facility are not cleaned as they should, and need, to be. I also would not even my dog to be in those conditions. If you really want your loved one to be well cared for, don't let them be transferred to Woodlands.

WOODLAND VILLAGE IN DIAMONDHEAD IS A TERRIBLE PLACE FOR ANYONE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PERSON THEY LEAVE THEM WET IN THE BED. NOT ENOUGH HELP AT NIGHT. THE NURSES IN WHITE WILL NOT HELP AT ALL THEY GO GET AN AIDE AND THEIR MAYBE TWO AIDES TO TWO WHOLE WINGS AND EACH WING HAS TWO TO A ROOM.WE REQUESTED A BED WITH RAILS FOR OUR MOTHER AND WERE TOLD THEIR WERE NONE AT THE TIME. OUR MOTHER FELL OUT OF THE BED THAT NIGHT AND WE WERE NOT NOTIFIED UNTIL MONDAY MORNING AND THAT WAS A SATURDAY NIGHT. OUR MOTHER TOLD US DO NOT PUT HER BACK IN THAT PLACE AND BELIEVE ME WE WERE NOT. SHE HAD A BROKEN HIP AND SHE WAS IN THERE FOR PHYSICAL THEREPY. WE MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS BUT NOTHING HAPPEN. THE DIRECTOR WAS OUT WITH HER BABY SHE WAS NO HELP. I WOULD NOT PUT MY DOG IN THAT PLACE. IT WAS DIRTY I HAVE PICTURES OF SOMETHING THAT STAYED IN THE TOP OF A WATER FOUNTAIN IN THE MAIN HALL FOR 3 DAYS BEFORE THEY CLEANED IT.

I am blessed to have my mother in this home and she loves it. Ms. Lynn the activity director takes time for my mother and so many others there. She has made the tansition easy for our family.God Bless You Ms. Lynn. Nursing and CNA's are very helpful although at times I can't find them. The food is wonderful I am not sure of the directors name but he does a great job. Woodland Village is a wonderful place because of the wonderful people that work there.

My grandmother attends this facility. I have been to visit this women many of times. The cost of livings is fairly cheap under 7k a year. Grammy says its the best place on earth, and that she could imagine a better place to retire. The facility is quite amazing, the grounds are large and since its close to a local school, there are all-ways planned visits. Grammy enjoys the comfort of the rooms, and the fun games they entertain. The only bad thing about this place, like every place like this, is the food. Grammy always complains about how bad the food is, so i try to sneak her a bite or two or normal food. Over all this facility is great, and Grammy loves it and intends to spend the rest of her life there. Woodland is a place to be if your looking for both comfort, and reliability. Grammy loves it!
