This place was awful. Those giant cockroaches everywhere, and black mold in my room coming from the air conditioner. Overnight CNA's did nothing but watch TV all night. And not only do they take your insurance money, they take your social security as well. They give you $37.00 to live on every month. That wouldn't even pay my cell phone bill. I will avoid this place in the future.

I can't think of anything that I liked about Lacombe Nursing Center. It's not a great place. It wasn't for my friend. Most of the staff were pleasant, but we had quite a few problems with most of the CNAs. She did not like the food. It did not smell clean. I've only seen the bingo and some of the entertainment that came in. The entertainment was OK. Her room was terrible. It was a semi-private room, but the layout was not good for a wheelchair. The atmosphere was kind of glum. I left feeling depressed every time I went.

The food is disgusting. And everytime I bring new personal items (and yes I put the name) it comes up missing. Even the way they bark orders at the residents instead of asking!!

This facility is smelly & community showers stink literally! Roaches by the handfuls & was told some bs about in between contracts with extermination companies for over 6 months! Milk is sour most of time & food not too good at all, I ask for peanutbutter jelly sandwich in which I had to get the DON to get one as kitchen person fused at me! And how do you run out of jellies? I could go on but what's the use!

My friend is so happy at this facility. On the older side but clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and has a good relationship with visitors and their residents. Excellent rehab program

Lacombe Nursing Center was an older place but it was clean. The staff were really nice and helpful, I visited there all the time and they talked to me and tried to answer all my questions. My mom was in a shared room like a hospital room but a little bigger. I fed her everytime I was there and the food was pretty good. I would suggest they improve on the food and a little updating of the rooms. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place.
