The rooms are clean The residents has been taken care of due this pandemic. Family members can call and speak with their family members too. You are allowed to see them from the window. My family seems cared for each time is visit. There are some wonderful nurses and aids caring for the residents during the COVID19 pandemic. I think an outside gazebo would be an idea place to take the residents members to get vitamin K. The facility is normally decorated for the holidays and really makes the residents very happy.

I thought the rooms were nice and clean at Lafon Nursing Facility of the Holy Family. The dining area was nice. I did not eat there, but I saw the food and it looked fine. The staff seemed very attentive. The aides were all interacting with the people and I didn’t see anything negative there. They have a big activity rooms at different wing and they do have activities.

Lafon Nursing Facility of the Holy Family was an excellent facility. It was immaculate. I could not find anything about it that would not please me if I had to place someone there. The reception area was very nice and the place was extremely clean in every area. Everything was nice. They had activities for the seniors; they had exercises, personal care things like if they wanted to have their hair or nails done, and they offered religious services for different faiths. The staff we met was well-rounded. He went through everything with us, including their disaster evacuation plan, and he knew exactly what was going on in all areas. The rest of the staff was very personable. They have an open door policy; there is no visiting schedule, so if you want to check on your people you can do that at anytime. The place was very inviting. It was a nice experience.

This is a good facility, the majority of the things that I noticed were very positive, although their were a couple of things that were negative that bothered me, like for instance I wish that they wer a little bit more friendly to there assisted living and encourage them a little bit more with being active. I also feel like they should be a little bit more quicker with servicing their needs.
