"I am a patient on the rehab section of the facility. Been here since 9/28/2016. The employees, nurses, CNA's, maintenance personnel, everyone I have had contact with that represent Belle Vie are wonderful people. They do not hesitate to help. Throughout the day and evening occasionally a staff member will pop into my spacious room and check if I need anything, or engage in casual conversation. They are genuine and true. The facility is very clean and my private room is larger than a standard motel room. Digital TV and I was allowed to bring in and use my personal computer. 90% of the food is prepared in house, cooked from scratch. Even the soup is prepared from scratch. If you are given a choice, Belle Vie is the place!! "

"THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN .THE INTERACTION WITH THE STAFF WAS GREAT THEY WAS VERY HELPFUL ESPECIALLY MY MOTHER IS SPANISH SPEAKING PERSON.THEY DID THERE BEST TO UNDRESTAND HER WITH CARE .I DIDN'Y HAD NO CONCERN WHILE MY MOTHER WAS THERE.THEY HELP ME WITH THE TRANSITTING HELPING ME TO BRING MY MOTHER BACK HOME.BUILDING VERY CLEAN.FOR THE FIRST TIME MY MOTHER ATE IN THE DINNING ROOM SHE REALLY HAPPY CAUSE SHE ALONER "

"Rooms are clean. Communication with staff is near impossible. Don’t even attempt to get upper management on the phone. Staff very skilled at passing the blame whenever things don’t get done, which is constantly. A lot of theft also. Laundry incompetent, lost clothes, dirty laundry piles up for days. Understaffed and likely underpaid. DO NOT put your loved ones in this place especially since Commcare took over. Daily mass is the only plus but not worth the stunning incompetence and outright negligence of this place."

"I have been visiting a family friend at this facility for several months. I have visited this facility different times of the day and have consistently noticed how clean the facility was. The patient care and attention to the details of daily service within the facility is the exception, not the rule of what one could expect. Best regards Tommy"

"Jefferson Healthcare was very nice and had a homey atmosphere and nice people. The attitude of the people and the people who work there gave it a family-like atmosphere. "

"I had two family members at ST Margaret’s for rehab with in weeks of each other. Both got excellent care. The rooms were private and clean and all rehab rooms have been upgraded with television and cable. I toured other nursing homes and this one was by far the most home like. The staff were very accommodating and lovely. "

"My dad will be moving into the Jo Ellen Smith Living Center. It was convenient to get to because of the location. It's near our home. They have a caring staff. The facility was very clean and organized. They have some activities to keep him engaged, and he can socialize there. The staff members were very knowledgeable, and caring, and answered all of our questions. They were engaged in the process. They have everything that my dad needs to socialize and engage with others. They have a salon and an entertainment room. They have bingo and all kinds of activities."

"The atmoshpere at St. Lukes is very apeasing. When I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist who asked if I needed any assistance in finding who I was there for. The food is better than most long-term care facilities that I have visited before, and most of the residents looked happy and well takwn care of. There were not a bunch of residents just sitting in there chairs in the hallways, like I have seen at other facilities in the past. Daily activities such as art projects, piano playing and knitting are options patients have to stay entertained. I noticed many people playing cards together in the main area that residents can conviene in. The overall experience was a good one. I will return again in the fall and I hope to see things as they were last visit. "

"St Joseph of Harahan They have a great staff. Everyone is very caring and personable. They listen to all of our concerns and they are quick to solve any issues that may arrives. They have planned activities every day and a fantastic activities Director.The nurses the supervisor of the CNN ‘s. and the CNN’s are the best ,we are very happy we chose this facility for our loved one and would definitely recommend this facility ."

"The reviews listed on this site are very old and are out of date. The facility is named St. Bernard Nursing and Rehab and the care is great! My aunt just completed her therapy and is back home and can't stop praising the staff there. She is very appreciative of how kind and friendly everyone is and wants to go back there to volunteer as soon as she can. The facility deserves the 5 stars from me. "

"My dad moved into St. Anthony's Nursing Home. The place is pretty old. But as far as the care, I feel like the care is very good. The staff is very nice and very reliable. They call me for everything that changes with my dad. Any changes, they notify me. The rooms are good sized. The dining area is large and spacious."

"I don't know how to begin this but by saying excellent. The service and care that the staff provided for my sister was huge! The staff called me and gave me updates on my sister and gave her so much warmth. The faciality called me during Hurricane Ida with daily updates telling they had Food, Water & Power -- plenty of air conditioning. I never needed to worry. If you need help they are a great people to have along with you. St Catherine's provided hospice there for my sister and made her very comfortable. In her final hours even in the middle of the night they called to inform me that it was getting close to the end. I went and they comforted me as well. I held my big sisters hand to her last breath, I love her so much. It pains me that i lost her. But, she is in a better place. "The rooms are clean The residents has been taken care of due this pandemic. Family members can call and speak with their family members too. You are allowed to see them from the window. My family seems cared for each time is visit. There are some wonderful nurses and aids caring for the residents during the COVID19 pandemic. I think an outside gazebo would be an idea place to take the residents members to get vitamin K. The facility is normally decorated for the holidays and really makes the residents very happy."

"My grandmother is at Metairie for rehab and she will be staying long term! She loves the activities and the staff. The young ladies that care for her are nice and make her feel special."
