"Palm Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center was a very nice facility. They had very nice grounds and very nice staff. I think they had cafeteria style food. The rooms were small, and they were not as quaint in decorations, but the facility was nice and decorated. I found this to be more structured and hospitalized. "

"I don't know if the facility has improved since my mother was discharged, however during the months of July 2010 until December 2010 I witnessed the quality of care decline. My understanding is, due to the recession, the facility reduced staff. Also, the contract that is signed upon admission states that you should not be concerned with retribution for concerns brought to their attention. However, management dealt with all staff issues by just banning that staff member from being in contact with the patient. So staff who can assist the patient becomes limited. "

"I would like to start by saying that Lake Forest nursing facility is one of the best facilities I believe that a senior can go to for physical therapy, wound care, attention for medical needs the staff are very professional very caring and understanding and informative to family and friends they conduct themselves at the facility like people in healthcare should???? not like some of these other fly-by-night facilities that are only there for the 9 to 5 job. If more nursing homes and Care Facilities would use the etiquette that Lake Forest nursing facility used there would be less nursing home neglect there will be less injury to elderly. I really hope Medicare would give Lake Forest nursing facility a 5-star review I can't say enough about this facility helping my father and the staff. Don't get stuck in some shady facility in Garden Grove???? "

"My grandmother stayed here for about 10 days following a heart attack and we were very happy. The facility itself could use a facelift but the staff was excellent. She was very comfortable during her stay and even said the food was good. "

"Date: 2-16-2017. I am extremely happy with the excellent customer service Ramon-the director of customer services has brought to this Flagship Health Center. My fiancé was in a different facility before Flagship after the first surgery and the stay there was a horrible experience; however it was our first time getting rehabilitation at a nursing home center, so we had nowhere else to compare that horrible experience to. After the second surgery, we were really afraid of entering the next nursing home / rehabilitation facility. Not knowing what to expect, we embraced Flagship Health Center with an open mind. Little did we know, we would receive the best service any customer and patient could ever receive. The nursing staff here is incredibly caring and very helpful and such a delight every day-with smiles and incredible effort in providing care not just to my fiancé, but as I witnessed, to other patients as well. Even the staff who hands out the meals are excellent. They offer to open up my fiancé's milk and ask if everything is OK before they walk away . They don't just drop it off and go flying out of the room. Not only that, the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm as it should be. It's very clean and professional. The halls don't stink all day long like the other place always did. We have voiced out very few concerns and Ramon and his staff has taken care of each one immediately-without hesitation and without arguing with us. We've been told that the staff here enjoys our company and loves us and that means a lot; however for us to be happy, the staff must be providing great care and excellent Customer Service. My biggest thanks to nurses and assistants Kathy , Juliana, Maria, purple hair Maria, Will, Mohammad, Victor, Eppy, several others whom I only met once and can't remember their names. I also want to add that the physical therapists at this facility are extremely nice and very helpful and you can tell that they know what they are doing. Many thanks to Greg, Gerry, Jean, Emilia (?), and I forget the other occupational therapists name, but I'm telling you, there's not one person there that I am unhappy with. Even the therapists who aren't even assigned to my fiancé will come running to help him as needed. They DON'T walk around with that attitude that he is not their patient therefore they don't have to help him. I am recommending this place to anyone out there who has the patience and understanding for the staff here and know they are truly here to help you. If you do hear any complaints from anyone at this time , all I can say to that complainer is "be grateful where you're at because there are places that don't come near as close to being as helpful as Flagship Health Center". Last, but not least, if it wasn't for Sam, we wouldn't have had this wonderful opportunity!!!! She's the best!!! Many thanks and love to all at Flagship Health Center Newport Beach, CA!!!! "My father was at Newport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for rehabilitation. I think that was maybe two years or three years ago. The entrance was fine, but my father stayed in a two-person room. It was a bed; it was basic. But I thought the staff seemed friendly, and I was pleased to see that there were activities happening. They had a central room for crafts and games, which I thought was really nice. They were encouraging my dad to do better, and he did get better. I had a turkey sandwich or something there, and it was good. The biggest criticism I have of skilled nursing facilities is that the rooms are just so minimalist. It's a bed and a TV. You wish to have just a little more space, so it feels less institutional. Some plants would be nice, and maybe some artwork on the walls or something. I think my father's Medicare paid for most of his stay there."

"Crystal Cove Care Center is taking very good care of my friend. They are giving her a little bit of physical therapy and making sure she gets up and walks a little bit, at least 20 steps or more. The place is nice and clean. The people that I've met are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the place. The general appearance of the place is that it's very well-kept. The rooms are around the courtyard and the able patients can sit outside in the little courtyard. They have a large room where they do physical therapy. So there are other people around working out at the same time."

"My mom is still at Victoria Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. It is a very good skilled nursing facility. They had good food, a good layout, and great staff. The staff is very friendly and we have great communication. There's an activity room, and there's an activity director."

"Although this place needs a good face lift, the people here are so nice & caring. Not only for your loved one you place here but also for you. The Dr even called me up directly at home to talk about my Father's condition. He spent over an hour on the phone with me, that has never happened. Dad didn't like the food however... "

"This is a 135 Bed acute care Nursing Killed Hospital for seniors. They are well staffed by true well educated professionals. All are attentive and most of all compassionate. The facility is very clean and sterile; housekeeping is on the floors 24/7 to keep all areas clean and sterile for the patients, staff and visitors. The patients are well cared for most are in acute states and are not alert or aware of their surrounding due to their conditions but staff is stellar in the care of each patient in their charge. The rooms are average hospital rooms with hospital beds but they are well decorated and so are the common areas. The food is based on diet but seems to be healthy and well planned menus. If a loved one needs Skilled Nursing Care this is the place to look to. They are professional to the highest degree. 10 out of 5 stars you will not be sorry you choose this facility. "

"My Grandmother spent a few days in this facility after leaving the hospital and it was not a good experience. The facility itself is clean and presents a nice image. However it's all about the care provided and that is where it is sorely lacking. Doctors orders were not followed correctly and this led to a setback in my Grandmothers health and after being there for a few days her condition worsened. Much of the staff had a difficult time communicating with us due to language issues. There were many issues which led us to believe that things were not being done correctly nor attentively. We attempted to talk with the managerial staff and our concerns were not received well. We instead were met with an attitude that was not responsive to our concerns so we decided to immediately arrange for our Grandmother to be transported to another facility where she thrived and was home within a few days. From past experience with other family members in many other facilities we knew what to expect from a nursing home and knew that this nursing home was not providing what it should be. "

"She stayed in Country Villa for three weeks. The stay was OK. It was good. There was nothing much you could do except stay in bed, but to me it was good, and they were very nice. It is an old facility, and it could be updated. The room she got is a regular room, and it is OK. The staff is very nice, although sometimes when she pushed to get help, they don't respond right away. I think it is because they don't have enough staff in place. They have activities over there like bingo and church. They have certain things going on. I only attended the bingo while my mother-in-law really likes the church. She only attended the bingo once, and they never took her back in the three weeks she was there. I think she needed to say something. She didn't care for the food at all. "

"The overall experience at South Coast Post Acute was fine. It was an OK experience. I like this facility much better than the other facility. The entrance area was very pleasant. The staff was pleasant, and the rooms were OK. They were clean. "
