"My husband (80) and I (64) were invited to tour this facility; I ended up going by myself 'cuz he refused saying, "I don't want to live in an old folks home." Well, let me tell you, this facility didn't remind me of an old folks home; it was beautiful. I'd live there in a heartbeat. It was very expensive, but had some very great perks, was very beautiful and I couldn't think of a better place to live out the rest of my life. My only problem with it, in our situation, is that it gets me further away from my granddaughters in Huntington Beach and I don't want to have to drive any further than necessary. But the facilities were wonderful, the food was exceptional and all the staff I came in contact with were very cordial. I'd recommend this facility to anyone that can afford it. "

"My grandmother stayed here for about 10 days following a heart attack and we were very happy. The facility itself could use a facelift but the staff was excellent. She was very comfortable during her stay and even said the food was good. "

"I was at San Juan Hills Healthcare Center for rehab and they had a very inconsistent quality of staff. I give the physical therapy staff a five rating, while the in-room care staff is probably a two. There were a few people that were very good and probably 60 percent of the people were pretty much worthless. The food was adequate."

"This is a 135 Bed acute care Nursing Killed Hospital for seniors. They are well staffed by true well educated professionals. All are attentive and most of all compassionate. The facility is very clean and sterile; housekeeping is on the floors 24/7 to keep all areas clean and sterile for the patients, staff and visitors. The patients are well cared for most are in acute states and are not alert or aware of their surrounding due to their conditions but staff is stellar in the care of each patient in their charge. The rooms are average hospital rooms with hospital beds but they are well decorated and so are the common areas. The food is based on diet but seems to be healthy and well planned menus. If a loved one needs Skilled Nursing Care this is the place to look to. They are professional to the highest degree. 10 out of 5 stars you will not be sorry you choose this facility. "

"My Grandmother spent a few days in this facility after leaving the hospital and it was not a good experience. The facility itself is clean and presents a nice image. However it's all about the care provided and that is where it is sorely lacking. Doctors orders were not followed correctly and this led to a setback in my Grandmothers health and after being there for a few days her condition worsened. Much of the staff had a difficult time communicating with us due to language issues. There were many issues which led us to believe that things were not being done correctly nor attentively. We attempted to talk with the managerial staff and our concerns were not received well. We instead were met with an attitude that was not responsive to our concerns so we decided to immediately arrange for our Grandmother to be transported to another facility where she thrived and was home within a few days. From past experience with other family members in many other facilities we knew what to expect from a nursing home and knew that this nursing home was not providing what it should be. "

"Advance Rehab Center of Tustin is a wonderful facility. The employees are absolutely wonderful. They work extremely hard. They're very helpful. I couldn't be happier in this facility. I feel very welcome here. I don't have one complaint about this place at all. I would recommend it 100%. The staff is excellent. I have never seen so many people so dedicated, and so helpful, and cheerful. They're just happy, happy employees. I can't say enough about them. It's them that makes this facility, and they're just very hardworking people. They are very dedicated to the patients. The activities are great. They bring in a lot of live musicians. They have a lot of people coming in to teach music. They have gardening. They have a lot of activities in their activity room, and they have a very large cafeteria area where people mingle, so it's very social here. There are two people in each room with the women, and I believe they have up to four for the men, but they're nice rooms. They have closets to hang up their clothes. They have a dresser for you. We share one bathroom that's connected to the next room, so it's very nice. We have a big window that we open up like a bay window. So, it's not dark and dingy at all, but it's very light and dark."

"She stayed in Country Villa for three weeks. The stay was OK. It was good. There was nothing much you could do except stay in bed, but to me it was good, and they were very nice. It is an old facility, and it could be updated. The room she got is a regular room, and it is OK. The staff is very nice, although sometimes when she pushed to get help, they don't respond right away. I think it is because they don't have enough staff in place. They have activities over there like bingo and church. They have certain things going on. I only attended the bingo while my mother-in-law really likes the church. She only attended the bingo once, and they never took her back in the three weeks she was there. I think she needed to say something. She didn't care for the food at all. "

"At Royale Health Care Center my father was admitted under the hospice program. There he spent the last few days of his life. The personnel at Royale insured my father was comfortable and free of pain at all times. The night he passed one of the nurses stayed by his side at all times until the end. We never asked him to he did it because he wanted to. You could tell he cared and was concerned about my father being as comfortable as possible. The moment my father passed I knew he was free of pain and that allowed me to accept his loss comfortably not painfully. All the support Royale Health Care Center gave us and the care they provided for my father is un repayable. They took on the stress of all the health care issues and allowed us to spend the last days of my father's life by his side without worries. "

"Mom had to go to Carehouse as she had an operation, but then I found out that they have permanent residence also. I was able to experience some of the care whilst she was there because she was there for about 10 days. The room was old because the temporary part was coming in, but I didn’t care for that too much. They did have the facility OK to get help right from the nursing staff, but it was old. The outside was beautiful, inside not too much. They will bring the food to her on the tray, but they can eat in the dining hall if they’re able. Most of the staff that I met was very were really sweet people, nice, and caring. They have a calendar with activities almost every day, so it’s wonderful. When somebody has a birthday, they actually put them in a wheelchair, everybody is lined up, they’re like going "look out, hurray," and they’re throwing stuff to them and singing happy birthday. "

"This nursing facility isn’t fancy. But it is clean. It has WONDERFUL, loving, experienced caregivers. They give everything they have to making progress with patients’ health. My mother was there for 6 weeks and we are so grateful to everyone who helped her!!"

"My mom is still at Victoria Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. It is a very good skilled nursing facility. They had good food, a good layout, and great staff. The staff is very friendly and we have great communication. There's an activity room, and there's an activity director."

"My family and I did extensive research in Orange County and Los Angeles for a good quality, temporary nursing home for my grandmother. Our top priority was finding the best physical therapy service. We were lucky we were able to get a bed for my grandmother right away because there's typically a 2 month to 3 month waiting list. The physical therapists who worked with my grandmother were excellent (I give them 5+ stars, but the nurses were above average... maybe a low 3 stars). She did get a bedsore during her stay, but it did go away eventually. Overall, we are pleased with our pick. "
