"The Fountains was excellent. It was probably our second choice. I loved that place, and it was beautiful. It was only seven minutes from my house, and my mom wanted to be close to me. They also have assisted living and memory care. The staff was fine. They were very helpful, and I had no problems with them. The rooms were very nice and very clean. There was no odor. I'm pretty sure they had an activity room, and they had activities for the residents to do. For memory care residents, I think they need to have a lot of stimulation, and I think they had that also. It could have gone the either way, but I just decided to go to the other one. "

"I visited Walnut Village. I loved the apartment that I looked at, and it was out in a quiet area. So for me, it was perfect. It just seems very friendly and nice. They have regular housekeeping and everything like that. They have a little store, a happy hour, and an indoor swimming pool. It was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. They went into great detail about the apartment. I was very happy with them. The food was excellent. The dining area was beautiful. lt's like dining at a beautiful restaurant. Everything was just perfect."

"My mom was at Rowntree Gardens. They were very friendly and very helpful. It was my mom’s first time to go into assisted living, so they were very mindful of that. They made her feel comfortable as much as possible. I had no problems with them at all. They can watch TV, they have speakers to talk to them about different things, they will take them out on field trips to go eat and things like that, and they went to see concerts in the local area. They kept her as busy as possible. "

"I went to Westmont Village. I found it very clean. The only reason I chose the other one was because it's five minutes from my house. I liked all the stuff they had going. They had a little bit more to offer. The staff during the tour was great and he did a lot of follow-ups with me, too, afterwards. I don't remember any of the activities, but I like that they had a barber shop, a little cafe, and a TV like a theater and that type of stuff. I really liked it a lot."

"My dad and my sister were residents of Artesia Christian Home. The facility is spotless. They've got a good, great staff, and they're very accommodating. They had maybe a small bump in the road every once in a while, but other than that, things were fine. Their staff was excellent. They're very friendly. They're very quick to help in critical situations. We're just really pleased with them. They loved the food. The kitchen staff was excellent, too. They put on quality products. They've got a little open area of patios. If you want to meet your family there, they have a nice place for you to meet. They also have little meeting areas throughout the home. There's a nice, quiet neighborhood around there. So if you want to take a walk around the block, you can. My father used to do that quite regularly and he enjoyed it. They have Bible studies there. They have group activities. They bring people in throughout the month as far as there might be a Bible teacher who comes in, maybe motivational people. They do little exercise classes. They keep the residents busy. This is the thing about it. The folks were bathed. They're washed. They're dressed and they're ready at a time in the morning when they're serving breakfast. So, everybody comes out there, they're dressed, they're clean, and that's how they start your day. They got the staff doting over them for the rest of the day. They've got a little aviary. It's a big bird cage and they keep that very active. I love the variety of the little birds that they put in there. They have a little garden area if you want to grow some tomatoes or put something like that."

"I visited the Covington over the weekend, and was so impressed! I'm looking for a place for my parents who currently living independently, but are showing signs of needing some assistance. I loved the way Covington cared for their clients. It was small, intimate and warm. People knew each other and everyone was so friendly! The gardens were particularly beautiful - perfect for meditation or setting up an easel for some painting. I love the CCRC plan, and are seriously considering investing in my parents' future care and happiness. "
