My parents have moved into Preston Pointe in Morrisville. It's been about 2 weeks now. They're in independent living. It has a nice appearance. I like the apartments, and they were able to get a patio there on the first floor. Preston doesn't have that many of them actually. It was just a nice community like the people. They have nice activities, and I think it's a convenient location. I think the people there are very friendly and nice. From what my parents said, the food is very good too.

We really liked Preston Pointe and the person we're working with. They showed us a lot of hospitality. It was lovely, and the food was great. They invited us for lunch, and the food was wonderful. They have a good variety for everyone. The floor plans were good. The floorplans were somewhat more generous for the square footage than some others that cost more and had less square footage, which is important for us. The person that showed us around was just wonderful. The follow up calls have been well spaced and not intrusive at all; no high pressure or anything like that. They really want to work with us on making us feel like we could afford it. The residents seemed engaged and happy. They weren't being hidden from our view. They also said they will be adding a pool, but I don't know exactly when. It might be a year or two years.

I am very happy with Preston Pointe. It is very warm, the people are really nice, and the staff is superior. I can't say enough good things about the food, and I have no complaints about it. The activities director is excellent. We always go to the symphony at least once a month. On Fridays we have a shuttlebus, and we have a van. We don't have assisted living, but if you need something, there's always somebody to help you.

I was at Preston Pointe on Saturday but to see someone. Preston Pointe is fine if you don’t need continuing care. I have lived there for a few years. The rooms were great; they were roomy, and the bathroom was a great size. I had no complaints about that. It was very comfortable and it had a living room, dining room area, and a good kitchen, so it was very good for me at that time. The grounds were very nice. They have exercise classes and people that come in for different activities, they have movies, and they go out to eat and to the shows, so it is pretty active. I thought their pricing was very good.

Preston Pointe is nice and impressive, and there is nothing wrong with it, but those people were old, and I am not that old. They were in walkers and wheelchairs.

Preston Pointe was awesome. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was exactly what we needed for our grandmother, so it was very good. The apartments were very spacious and easy to maneuver for most senior persons. They were really good. The dining area was very nice, welcoming, and wasn’t too stuffy. We saw that they were doing tai chi, saw people in the library, and saw a painting class. The staff was very friendly and knew all of the residents we passed by first name.

We have just moved my mother-in-law into Preston Pointe. It is a retirement facility with services. We like the size of the facility. It is not overly big. They have doctor making house calls. They have lots of features and lots of assistance services. They have a number of activities like bingo and games. On certain days of the week, they will take folks to different places, e.g., Wal-Mart and grocery stores. They get them out and about. Sometimes they have entertainment where they have people that come and play music and what-not.

Preston Pointe was beautiful, and they had a lot of things going on. We were rather disappointed by a big hole in the ceiling and in the wall and the mantle, and they were trying to get it fixed. They showed us an apartment, which was nice, but I could barely reach my fingers inside the bottom of the kitchen cupboards because I'm short and had to use a stepstool. The room was small, but it would've been sufficient. The hallways were extremely long, and my husband has a Charcot foot. He walks with a brace, and for him to get around on those long carpets was scary. The carpet itself, if somebody has a tendency to fall, makes it worse, even with rails on the side. They took us downstairs in the basement where the exercise rooms were. The people were nice, and the place looked very nice and was decorated beautifully, but there didn't seem to be enough help.

The name of the community I visited is Preston Pointe. It is a retirement community. I lived in the area for years; that is how I knew about it. I was also in real estate, so I knew about all these places in Cary. The staff was very helpful and very nice. I liked the layout of the rooms. It was spacious for what I was looking for. I know they do a lot for the women because I did a floral demonstration for them one day. I have eaten in their dining room, and it was excellent.

My Mom was a resident from 2012 to July 2014 at which time she has to move to move into assisted living. Preston Point was a wonderful place for my Mom. You will not be disappointed.

I visited Preston Pointe, LLC, and it is a very beautiful facility. It's a wonderful place to live. The caregivers are excellent, and the food is also excellent. Their activities are excellent. Mom would love to live there, and I would absolutely recommend this facility.

I spoke at length with the young woman at Preston Pointe that took me on the tour, and it’s a wonderful place for when I’m older. The residents all seemed to know each other, were busy doing something, and the facility is very lovely. The location is quite lovely because it’s not overly developed yet; it sits up on the crest, and there are lots of trees and greenery. The grounds are kept beautifully, and things were active. It wasn’t that people were just sitting in wheelchairs waiting to be moved by something or someone; these people were active, mature adults. I think there was somebody in the TV room, and if I remember correctly there were some people playing cards. They have activities room at the back of the theatre where they have movie nights with popcorn. I was surprised when I looked at a studio type apartment; it’s a small size but it was very airy and sunshiny. They have done a beautiful job with the windows so that all the rooms are naturally lit and it makes them feel very gracious and very inviting. I did see the dining room which was quite lovely, I read and saw the menu, and it sounded good. They’re conscientious of feeding healthy, delicious food. I saw lots of staff doing all kinds of jobs, talking to residents that were coming up to the desk to make reservations for some activity, and walking around just kind of overseeing residents and what they were doing out socially. The people that worked there are a delight. The woman who took me on the tour knew her business, and she loved what she does. She is there because she wants to be there, she wants to be working with this age group of people and she is helping them; you can’t ask for more than that when you’re getting help. If you’re getting help from somebody, you’re going to get the best help that there is, so I would say that part was exceptional.

My father moved into Preston Pointe. I like it especially because it is a clean facility. The apartment that he has is large and new. It is also very bright and very clean. My father has his own washer and dryer. He also has a full kitchen, which is very nice. People there are very friendly.

Preston Pointe is strictly independent living with activities, transportation, and three meals a day. The apartment complex is very nice. They have a nice dining room. They have exercise groups. The residents go to different places and sometimes they go out for lunch.

I hope to convince my mother to relocate to The Manor Village! My friend is so fond of her new home and it shows in both her face and happy demeanor. The grounds and inside are clean, inviting, and luxurious. The restaurant within proved to be quite elegant and the food was fantastic. My friend was raving about her new friends and dozens of classes and games she had joined. All of the staff are cheerful, attentive, and friendly, adding to the warm, welcome feeling of this community. I toured the facility and was impressed by the huge movie theater, billiards room, gym, and salon. The staff seemed to know everybody that lives there and everybody seems to really care about each other. My friend insists that all of the staff go above and beyond. I have looked at several different locations in the area for my mom, just to keep informed. I went to The Manor Village at Preston for lunch, but curious for Mom too, since my friend has spoken so highly about it. She was very nervous about moving into a new place and is so grateful now that she did, and so am I! I highly recommend anybody looking for a warm, welcoming, wonderful place to retire to go check this place out!
