My mother has moved into Charter Senior Living of Charlotte. It's a beautiful facility. It's warm and caring. The people are very kind. She's in the memory care. The staff is great and very attentive. She did not like the food. They serve chicken and pulled pork and a lot of corn and cabbage. She's not used to southern cuisine, so it just takes a while to get used to it. She's played bingo. They had yoga this morning. They did hair and nails yesterday. They do coloring and game shows on TV. The place has all been redone. The color scheme is warm and inviting.

My aunt is at Charter Senior Living of Charlotte. She's been there for several years now and our experience has been good. They've been very helpful. They are caring and they like to visit with the residents. She has a nice size room. My aunt says the food is fine. It's kind of bland, but I think that's the way it is as they try to cut back on salt. They have a decent variety. There's no pool, but they have a barber shop/beauty shop, a library area, and common areas like a game room. It's just that they're doing renovations, but when they're through with that, I'm sure it'll be really beautiful. They have activities and she's done a couple of arts and crafts and they do outings where they go out to restaurants and things. I think it's a good value for the money.

My tour at Charter Senior Living of Charlotte was fine, but they weren't able to accommodate my brother. The staff that I met were really in-depth. They let me know how things were going and everything. The facility was clean and very well-kept. I was able to see their garden area. In terms of location, it had a lot of things around it. There was a hospital nearby and restaurants. The room was a good size. They had different rooms, and the one we saw had a twin bed.

Charter Senior Living of Charlotte was spacious, so it could accommodate seniors with wheelchairs (like my mom). It would be easy for her to be there. We saw the memory care and I liked it. They were friendly. The lady who was at the door was nice. The other lady who was giving us the tour was also good. She was dedicated and told us all about the facility. She walked with us and showed us the building, and all the different things in there, as well as the restaurant, the residents, and one of the rooms. It's got a twin-sized bed in it and could accommodate one person. It was a pretty big room. I also liked the location. It was easy to get into it.

We toured Charter Senior Living of Charlotte. The staff did the best they could for the tour. It was the maintenance man that toured us because the administrator was not on duty. They were much better than the first facility we visited. The receptionist was very nice. She was excellent. The rooms for assisted living were great. The atmosphere was great. It didn't have a dull look to it. It didn't have like a spooky, depressing look to it. The residents that they have for assisted living didn't look lively to me. Everyone just looked so sad to me. But I know my dad likes to be around people, he likes to talk, and he likes liveliness. Even though it was a nice facility, I did not feel that there at all. For assisted living, the rooms were excellent. It was up to date, it was very bright, and it didn't look dull. It didn't give that depressing look in the rooms. Even the furniture was up to date. Everything was great for the assisted living part. The staff who accommodated me were the maintenance man and the receptionist, but the maintenance man was great. The administrator was not available. Upkeep and maintenance were very good.

It is nice and the layout is nice. It's very clean and it didn't smell. The person during the visit was very professional, very caring, and interested in your needs. The food I had was nice. Everything is nice. My mother's room is very homey and spacious enough.
