I'm in Chatelaine Residences. It's a fairly luxurious apartment building for over 55 people only. I live in a 1200 square foot apartment, two bedrooms and two baths, and it's very nice. It's totally independent, so we don't have any formal services. It's a very active place and it's more of a community than an apartment building. Everybody knows everybody else. Everybody keeps track of everybody else. It's a wonderful place to live. We don't have food service. We have a fitness room, a large meeting room with an attached kitchen that's completely furnished, and two libraries. There's housekeeping and we have a manager and a maintenance person. It has 87 units, it's three storys, with two elevators and underground parking. It's expensive, but it's worth it for what we get.

I'm on Chatelaine Residences' list for availability because I want at the main level and they do allow pets. Their manager was awesome. Any of the staff I met were excellent. As those apartments become available, they are updating them. That would probably be my number one place that I would move to except they don't provide any meals. They do have a big room with a full kitchen so I could go down there and prepare if I wanted to have family in. I could rent out the room or we could as a group if we got several people within there that wanted to have a meal that we could all share together, we could do that. That's why they have full kitchens.
