We visited the assisted living facility of The Residence At Gramercy in Lincoln. What I like best about it is that the staff is friendly. The least I like is that it does not accept our insurance. They don't take any private insurance.

Medication assistance, bathing assistance, 3 meals each day, laundry, housekeeping and 24/7 staff assistance with call button. Daily activities and social outings allow residents to develop meaningful relationships and feel connected in the community. Each resident's apartment can be furnished and decorated to make it their own. Apartment kitchenettes include a refrigerator, sink and microwave. To keep things simple most services such as cable, internet, electricity, heat and water are all covered as part of the rent. With our below-average private rates and ability to accept Medicaid after one year of private pay, we have options to fit everyone's needs. My friend moved into The Residence at Gramercy. They've been very nice to her. They have been very respectful of her, and she got a one-bedroom, which is nice, and she enjoys it there. There are lots of relationships there. It's clean. I've also been talking with their social workers. They tell me it's cleaned up and very nice. They have activities, and they go on outings. So far, so good.
