"The rooms are nice, as well as the rest of the building, however, there is a foul smell upon entering the building. Due to a scheduling error (so they say) no staff showed up for the overnight shift on Jan 20th, 2024 which left all patients alone for several hours. One of the patients called 911 when she needed help and couldn't get someone to answer her call light. Police had to come to her rescue and when they checked the entire building, they confirmed there was no staff at all in the building that night. Police got EMS workers to come stay with patients until they got ahold of the owner who eventually was able to call staff members to come in around 4:30 am. Due to a shortage of staff, there were many times that my family member put the call light on to get help and had to wait an hour or two for assistance. There were also a few times, nobody ever came to the room yet somehow the call light was turned off, (not by the patient) My family member came to this facility directly from the hospital to receive several weeks of much-needed physical therapy. The Doctor requested and Insurance approved a certain amount of hours of physical and occupational therapy per week. Was given a covid test minutes after arrival and was told it was positive and therefore quarantined to their room for 10 days. A nurse told me that all patients admitted to their facility from the hospital, come there with covid. My family member was not sick, not even a sore throat, yet supposedly came there with covid and could not leave their room nor go to the physical therapy room. I found it very strange that I didn't see a patient out and about in the community areas, library, game room, bistro area, etc... It appeared all patients were always in their room. Due to the staff shortage, it sure makes the mind wonder if all patients are truly testing positive, or is that a way to be able to keep the insurance money coming in without having the proper amount of staff needed to bring patients back and forth from the dining area, physical therapy room, and all other common areas It's easier to maintain a herd of cattle when they're corralled."

"My mom was brought to Arbor Care Center - Valhaven. It was awesome. It was very clean. The people were very nice. It was unbelievably great. Usually, those places have a smell like a hospital or something, but Arbor Care Center didn't have any smell whatsoever. I would highly recommend this facility to people if they need to go to one. There were some activities. The staff members were very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They always asked if there was something they could do to help me. For the value, it was worth it."

"I feel the bare minimal cleaning is done in the establishment. I visited my husband many times and couldn't stand the smell of the place. One time the smell of sewer was so bad it made my eyes water. As far as the staff goes, if they don't like you, they treat you like crap. Same with family members. They pick their favorites. They love my husband but hate me. They refuse to take or return my calls. When I visit they turn their nose up at me. I, on several occasions expressed my concerns on my husband's health and they dismiss it as I don't know what I'm talking about. I had to send my daughter to check on him and he was found slumped over, skin beginning to turn gray because his blood sugar was extremely high and he had to be taken to ER. There were 2 other times I had to bring his health to their attention and both times he had to be admitted to the hospital and both times he didn't know who or where he was. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They only get a one star rating because 0 isn't an option."

"In 2013, I broke my leg, and then I had surgery. I did rehab at the Ambassador in Omaha. I was there for about a month. They were helpful, yes. They helped me do all kinds of things. They helped me dress, eat, shower, go to the bathroom, do some physical therapy, those kinds of things. I had a private room. It was comfortable and came with most of the amenities you might expect -- a TV set, hospital bed, a chair and stuff for visitors. The food was OK. The dining room was a big room with many tables. They had, I believe, tablecloths on the tables. It was clean. The nursing staff was good. One thing was that I could not go outside without someone with me, and I thought that was a little restrictive. "

"I don't know what others have seen at Skyline but my experience was totally different!! The people that live there are very well taken care of and the place looks very nice and clean. The entrances can be confusing but once you know your way around its not a problem at all and definetly no reason not to send your loved one there. Our loved one was recently there for a rehab visit and there care and rehab was top notch. The new owners have really started to turn the place around. Its nice to have a facility in the Benson/Omaha area that offers great care. We don't have to send our loved ones all the way across town to receive quality care. Thanks for all you did while our mom was there!! "

"My dad was at Nebraska Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff was friendly when I visited. The rooms were pretty good. There was a bed, a couple of chairs, and a table. There was a little couch, a TV, and a dormitory size refrigerator in the room. The security and safety seemed to be good. They had cameras at the entrances. I would probably refer this facility to my friends. "

"My brother is at Maple Crest Care Center. The staff is friendly and helpful and easy access. He doesn't like the food, but they have a lot of activities. Value for money is good. It's highly recommended. They seem to care about their patients."

"I have been in Immanuelle Fontenelle twice after surgery for my knee and hip. It was excellent then, but when I was in there not after surgery, I was treated like I was a five-year-old. Although the care was good, I didn’t care for people opening my door and walking in at night and saying, “I came in here to check your pants to see if they are wet.” It was very good food, and the best part of my stay was that I had a physical therapist that brought her therapy dog. The dog and I played catch out in the hall and that was our therapy that morning. She and the dog helped me a whole lot."

"My husband was in need of skilled nursing once leaving the hospital. Judy W from the facility came to the hospital to visit with us and give us information and answer our questions we had about the transition to a skilled nursing facility. She was very helpful to both my husband and myself with the move both before and after arriving at the facility. We both were very impressed with Judy as she was very professional at all times. I'm looking forward to working with her during my husband's stay."

"My husband has been at Golden Living Center for three weeks now. They seem to be taking really good care of him, and I can call him or call them anytime 24 hours a day. He likes the food. I would surely recommend them because they seem to really care. My husband goes to PT and OT. On Sunday, they have church, and they have all kinds of activities, but he hasn't participated yet. Regarding the staff, he likes them, and the ones I've talked to have been really nice. "

"We liked Papillion Manor a lot. It’s an older but well-kept facility. The nurses were really good, and the rooms were like small apartments. We ended up using Papillion for my father-in-law, which worked out very well. The food was fine. They had little sitting and bathroom areas and physical therapy in the facility. They had activities like bingo, cards, and puzzles. "
