Shattuck Manor is very clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and the patients seem comfortable and friendly. The patrons have individual call buttons on lanyards that they wear. The call lights are answered quickly. When I press my sister's button, somebody's there within minutes, so they're very responsive. The food was just fine. It's a nice place. They print the monthly schedule. They have bingo, cards, arts and crafts, nail care, and hair care. They have people who come in and play music.

My mother-in-law is in Shattuck Manor. It's close and convenient, it's the same place my mother stayed, we were happy with it, and it's good. They have therapy there. The room is a large studio type. The activities are good, and they probably have something every day, like singing groups and exercise sessions, and there's a bird aviary. The staff is excellent.

We're really happy with Shattuck Manor, so far. It's a really nice, clean, spacious environment. They offer lots of activities for my mom and do exercises with them, but I don't think they have an exercise room. They have a barber shop and a women's salon for doing hair. They take them places on day trips and have people come in to sing for them. The rooms are very nice.

My mother has been living at Shattuck Manor for about eight months and she loves it. She knew people that went there. The room is spacious. It's a studio but it has lots of room, walk-in closet, big bathroom, kitchen. The environment is very nice, the staff is very nice. She has flu today, and everybody was staying with her, checking on her and calling me. The best thing is they have a nurse on staff and she's diabetic. They're updating on her blood pressure and her blood sugar. They monitor that for me and they wanted me to feel comfortable that she's okay. That really impressed me. The food is the only problem, but I did fight for her and I got them to change some things. They have a lot of activities. Every afternoon is filled with something. They have somebody coming in to play music or singing three times a week, card playing, bingo probably four or five times a week, chair exercises every morning.

Mom liked Shattuck Manor because it was spacious. It had a large walk-in closet that she also liked. It was very nice and reasonably priced. It was in the next town from where she was. It was very bright lit and welcoming and the staff was very gracious. It was accessible to me as it was close to my home.

My father-in-law has moved into Shattuck Manor last weekend. He said that his life has changed since he moved in. He is much happier there. It is a very friendly place. They're very well-staffed. The food is delicious. The apartments are beautiful. They have a variety of activities. They have something for everyone. They have sing-a-long, movie and popcorn nights, games, church services, etc. I would recommend this place.

My mom is in Shattuck Manor right now. The rooms are big. The staff are very good. They also have a lot of activities for her. They have a transportation van that takes you to places you want to go. They also do go out on trips.

The facility was very nice, and clean, The staff seemed very helpful, cheerful and friendly. It was a good facility and the one we chose for her grandmother to stay at, during our tour we were even offered lunch to see the food choices that were offered on a daily basis/weekly basis specials which was very good. They had weekly and sometimes daily events and activites for their residents to take part in including scrabble, cards, bingo and other activities. The only bad thing was there was a pool, but it was off limits at the time, and I am unsure if it ever opened.

I toured the Shattuck Manor assisted living facility in the fall. The rooms were very well taken care of. They looked very clean and everything worked as it should. The staff working there were absolutely amazing and helpful to both guests and residents. If you had a question, there was always someone around who could help you get an answer. The Manor offered plenty of activities such as exercise and games. It's great how the staff keeps the patients active and healthy. Every morning I would eat breakfast in the cafeteria and the food was very good. My grandfather was taken very good care of before he eventually passed away. The employees working at the Manor made going through this tough time much easier by offering their support and condolences. I'm glad Shattuck Manor was there for my grandfather and I hope it will be there for my parents as well.

When I visited the facility, I was not expecting what I saw. Throughout my younger years, several of my peers worked at the facility and told me horror stories. When I visited, the facility was very clean, the staff was friendly and they were very welcoming to visitors. After arriving and saying who we were visiting, we were pretty much left on our own. My girlfriend's grandparents living area was very clean and it appears that it was kept up well by the caretaker. Furthermore, they had a "games night" in the cafeteria area. It was constructed in a very professional manner and it seemed many of the residents were having a good time. During my visit, I used the restroom several times. The first time it was very clean, but during my second visit, there happened to be urine all over. I notified a staff member about it and they were quick to get it cleaned up. Overall, I found it to be a very clean and pleasant facility to visit and possibly live in.

The facility is very warm and clean. The caregivers genuinely care about the residents. My mother is very comfortable and they all call her by her first name and treat her like a family member.
