My mother has settled in very, very well at Bickford of Saginaw. They are very caring and very doting on her. Her room is very comfortable and very cozy. The program they have is awesome. It has a lot of variety with activities for all the individuals, and it's very accommodating for the residents. They were playing bingo and doing crafts when I went there. The facility is very clean overall.

What I like about Bickford of Saginaw is that it seems nice and bright. The staff are friendly, and they mostly serve home-cooked food. The structure of the building is good, and it appears to be relatively clean. It feels homey, and there are plenty of places for people to go to watch TV or play games.

Bickford of Saginaw seemed more friendly than the other location we visited, and they seemed to be on top of their game better. It was a little bit bigger and it seemed to be comfortable. They had everything, like the salon, the exercises, and the rehabilitation area. The dining area was nice. It was located near restaurants, but a little farther from the hospital. The room that we saw was OK. It could fit a double bed and it had a little kitchenette area and a bathroom.

Bickford of Saginaw was very nice. I think the care, from my perspective, looked to be fine, and certainly the staff was very welcoming. They had a service to transport the residents to their doctor's appointments and other shopping, etc., in the area. They also had various activity areas, such as a dedicated puzzle room, and several other ones. They had folks that came in regularly to entertain or stimulate the various residents. They had a very nice reception area and a very nice fireplace area that someone could go to. It's a very nice place.

We toured Bickford of Saginaw. It was nice. The facility was fine. The people seemed friendly. We were just astounded at how much it costs. It is very high in price. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. They were acceptable. I met one staff member. She was fine; she was very nice.

Bickford of Saginaw was very nice and very clean. When we first walked in, the staff wasn't as friendly to greet us. But once we were shown around, it was fine. The staff who showed us around wasn't the lady that usually gives the tour, so she wasn't as knowledgeable and able to answer my questions. The facility was nicely laid out. They had a microwave and a mini fridge.

Bickford of Saginaw is very, very nice. In fact, they're building on, and they're going to have 16 or 18 more rooms. They cook all of their own food from scratch. The bread is made there and everything. They do it all, the cooks do. They have a room where people can go and sit. In the middle of the facility, they have an outdoors place where the people can go out, sit and read, or go out and visit, or whatever they want to do. I thought that was really nice. The rooms are really big. They have one that is more like a studio. It's got a big closet when you walk in, and the bathroom is on the other side. You go in at the far end and there's a small kitchen type thing. You have a small refrigerator, and you have a microwave, but you take all your meals out with the others. On the other end, I figured you could put a twin bed dresser in there and stuff like that. Then there's a small area that you could have for your living room. But if they like, there's smaller apartments, because they want people to come out and mingle with everybody and make it feel more homey. I understand that completely. The other apartment was a little bit bigger and had a separate bedroom, a small living room, and the same with the kitchen. It had a little bit smaller closet, but it was really nice. They were really nice people to talk to. They have a nurse that's there all day long. The director and the nurse are really, really nice people. Everybody I talked to was wonderful. I've had a gentleman come up that worked there. He introduced himself, said hello, and shook our hands. We went into the kitchen, and we talked with one of the cooks there, and everybody is super. With them telling me that everything is homemade, and everything is fresh, I think it's wonderful. Yesterday, when we were there, they were having snacks. They were having homemade cookies and lemonade, and the ladies were enjoying it. They do a lot with the community people. They'll take the people in, they'll make cookies, or they'll make ice cream floats and stuff like that. They do a lot with the people. They encourage them to get out and do things together.

Bickford of Saginaw was very pleasant. Our tour was very helpful and encouraging and gave us a sense of comfort if we were to take our mom there. They had art projects, either one on one or with a small group, music times, exercises, and I believe that people could even have their pets with them. Both group activities and one on one are available in memory care, especially when someone was new there. They have a lovely enclosed courtyard and a nice common area, like a living room with TV and a nice dining area. Everything looked pretty comfortable. It reminded me of a large home. It had a homey feel to it and the rooms had a variety of sizes, from smaller to larger. There were maybe four different room sizes and had easy-to-understand price guidelines.

We went to see Bickford of Saginaw. We went into their memory care. It was good. It seemed nice and clean. The people were friendly. The living atmosphere seemed good. People were sitting around in their chairs. I don't think it was dinnertime or anything, but they were all kind of gathered in the main area watching TV. Everybody seemed pretty happy out there. It's pretty inside. There were lots of pictures on the walls and nice colors. The facility was really nice.

Bickford of Saginaw was very nice and I would've chosen that one if it had been comparable in price. I think they probably had more activities going on because I think it was a little bigger place than the other one I toured. They had things that I know my mom would have liked, like on Friday nights, they had a little happy hour thing going on. For the price difference, we just had to go with the other. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice, very updated, and very clean. The one I had seen had a little kitchenette and a little kitchen table. It was more like a little apartment. The facility was very clean, and there was music playing. You got a good feeling when you went in.

We like Bickford of Saginaw a lot. The tour was great. The woman who gave the tour was very helpful in many ways. She was compassionate and she let us talk about the situation. We liked the size of it versus the other one that we felt was too big. We also liked the location because it's close to where my mother lives right now. It also felt more personal, and it suits my mother's personality better. The rooms were like apartments. They had bedrooms that were separate from the living room. They had a theater where you could come with your family and watch movies, and they had a place to do activities. I was very happy with it. It felt more of a home. It didn't feel clinical.

We visited Bickford of Saginaw and it was a nice place. However, we had an appointment and no one knew we were coming, so they weren't really prepared to talk to us. That kind of threw us off. The atmosphere of the place was homey and nice. The person we talked to was not very knowledgeable. He wasn't the head of anything, he was just a worker. They have a room with things that people can do, and they also have activities. Our biggest problem was that they weren't prepared, so the person didn't know what to talk to us about. The community was very nice.

Bickford of Saginaw is very nice and clean. The first thing you notice when you walk in is it doesn't have a smell. It's beautiful and the furnishing is very well done. It's roomy and airy. The room my mom is in is the nicest we've seen. It's broken up where it's not just a square box. The bedroom is off by itself, yet there isn't a closed door. I ate there for four days when I was with my mom and the food was just superb. My mom raved about it. They have singalongs and church service on Wednesdays and Sundays. They have family barbeques and they had a 4th of July barbeque. They also have social hours where you can bring wine and hors d'oeuvres. They had a prom where all the ladies were encouraged to dress up in glitter and they had a prom king and queen. There's engagement for the residents every day there and they include the family members as well. The staff is very caring and they will stop household activities to help a resident with whatever they need. Their focus is on the comfort and care of the residents.

So far, we love Bickford of Saginaw because they took a lot of the responsibilities off of us when Mom was still in the other place. They are very friendly and try to include my mom in activities even when she doesn’t want to do it. They always check on her and have been very good with her. Every morning, they give out a piece of paper during breakfast where everything going on for the day is listed. For Mother's Day, they had painters come in and painted them pictures to hang on their walls. They have music, a piano player, movie nights with popcorn, and balloon volleyball. I really like this place.

Bickford of Saginaw had so much commotion going on with people here and there, and the staff. It was a little overwhelming for my mom. The rooms were decent. Their staff was pleasant.

My mother is in Bickford of Saginaw Township and adjusting well. The people welcome you and seem to be very caring. There aren't any odors, and everything is clean and fine. They have a security system. Her room has a closet, a bathroom, a bed, a TV, a cupboard, a mini fridge, and a microwave. She can have some snacks in there if she wants. She has a key to lock the door, so she has privacy. She has a nice, big bathroom with a chair in the shower, so she can sit down and shower without having to stand the whole time.

I went to Bickford to check it out. They were very nice, very informative, and they showed me around the facility. The rooms that I looked at were great. It’s a nice facility, but it was way beyond my means. If there came some way that I could do it, I would love to be there because it’s a beautiful facility.

I am pleased to be able to give a review of Bickford Senior living which is the best assisted living facility located in Saginaw, Michigan among other locations as well. I knew that this would be the place to put my mother-in-law the moment that I looked on their website. The facility is upscale and caters to the residents in order to make them feel at home. After looking at the website and contacting the facility, my family and I were able to set up an appointment in which we would be able to talk to the director, staff and look at the facility. The director was very knowledgeable and also very honest about the prices and what the facility stood for. The staff was very friendly and genuinely cared about the resident's well being instead of just doing their job.Bickford Senior Living has numerous floor plans in order to please all of the residents. Some of the amenities include: 24 hour a day Bistro, sunroom, game room, whirlpool hot tub, kitchenettes, and many other options. Everyone can find what they need at this facility and also they make you feel like you are right at home. I hope that this has helped you decide that Bickford is the place for you or your loved one. Thank you!
