"Auburn Heights Senior Care was wonderful. I liked it. It's a smaller group of people, and they all eat together. It's very clean. The rooms were beautiful, freshly painted, updated, and had furniture and pictures. They had TV setup. There's a girl that has a program of activities for them to do on a daily basis, and they go on outings. The staff was very nice. The lady running the place was very helpful. I was very pleased."

"We visited Vassar Fields, and it seemed very good. There were people my parents knew who were living there so they were considering it at that time. They had arts and crafts and bingo. They had a room where people could come in, have popcorn, and watch movies and shows. They also have entertainment coming in from the outside. We visited the assisted living part, and I noticed that the independent living places seemed to be larger compared to the assisted living ones. They also didn't have a full kitchen. It was more of a room with a bathroom like a hotel suite, which is nice, but it didn't have kitchen facilities. The facility is also older."

"I have worked with Kelly from the St. Charles location for several months now. I’m so excited that they have opened up another location in Chesaning. They truly care about people. I highly recommend this place. They are a family run business and you can tell that they have care in their hearts."

"They are both caring and considerate people. Helpful and kind to their residents. All of the people they care for like them, but I feel that sometimes the owners are a tad to stern with the residents. However, I know that there are things the residents aren't allowed to have or do and the resident doesn't know about these things. "

"Meadows of Owosso is quite a new community and very well-staffed. There are four wings, one of which is a locked down memory care. It has a very wide, open meeting space in the middle with a fireplace and couches. They have a lovely dining room where the tables are set with linen table cloths and napkins, and a menu for all three meals. If there's something that the resident doesn't care for, there are substitutions that they are happy to make. The director all the way to the people clean the rooms to the ones who dispense meds to the chef in kitchen, knows everyone and always call my dad by name. They also know my name and my brother's name. They make a real effort to make it very personal and extremely friendly. They have two nurses who are always there, so they have someone available at all times if something happens. All the rooms are private but have different sizes. My dad is in a medium-sized, carpeted room with a bedroom, closet, and large bathroom with a walk-in shower so there's nothing for them to trip over. There's a little kitchenette with a refrigerator and a sink. They can bring their own furnishings, or you can go into a room that's already furnished for you for a price. They assist him with bathing, changing his Depends, administering all the meds he needs, and checking on him just saying hi, how's he doing and would ask if they can get him a snack. He wears a medical alert so if something happens he can press the buzzer. All of the medical staff members have a phone with them, so that if someone rings the buzzer, whoever is closest to that resident's room can go to the room. They're very cautious."

"The Roosevelt House was beautiful. It's perfect. The staff was wonderful, upbeat, and very informative. We loved everything about it. It's just we're not gonna be able to afford it. They had private rooms with private baths. They had outdoor activities. I saw a beauty parlor, a chapel, a study where they could go in and do puzzles and quiet things, a TV room, and an aviary. Outside, they had a garden and animals like deer, roosters, and chickens. It's brand new, and it's impeccably clean."

"The care at Welcome Home is excellent. Rooms are pretty and clean. Staff was loving and kind, providing excellent care. Our mom was well tended, was loved, and they loved her. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you!"

"Angel has a heart for people and makes a difference in people's lives. She cares about her clients and staff and is a true leader. She is always willing to do extra work and cares more about others than herself. Angel has a beautiful assisted living facility. It is obvious she took great care in designing the layout and selecting the decorations and quality furniture. There are special areas for tv watching, hair styling, and card games. The landscaping is beautiful with a fountain, walkways and sitting areas to enjoy. The environment is happy and peaceful. There is a unity and camaraderie that can be felt among the people living there and staff. I will definitely recommend this beautiful living facility to anyone looking for the perfect home for their loved one. I enjoyed my visit. "

The women over this place as of 2022 are the best I’ve met in years I am blessed to have these people in my life I wish I can give the place one million stars because they actually deserve it. "Edgewood is by far the best assisted living in Saginaw. They not only have a full time nurse and on call nurse, they have nurses that work as supervisors and medication technicians as well. The dining room service is above average. Mother gets to order from an actual menu just like she is at a restaurant, and the Chef even comes out to see if the residents are happy. The Administrator Krystyna is a nurse and gives her cell phone number out, and will actually answer it and talk to you if needed after hours and weekends. They have a manager on shift every weekend and weekdays till 8 at night. The housekeeping staff is amazing, Jackie the manager makes sure my moms clothes are never washed with any other residents and the building always is clean and smells fresh. Edgewood has a warm home inviting atmosphere. The activities they provide are amazing! They have live music once a week, Bingo, art, cooking class, happy hour, sewing class, mens club, book club, taste test Tuesday and so much more. They even allow pets. The man by my mom has a dog! I highly recommend Edgewood, it’s a great place. "

"Pine Haven Assisted Living went over to the rehab place where my aunt was at and they met her the night before she moved in there. They helped us get her in and out of the car when we got there. They They were very friendly with her. They got her to do some other stuff that the rehab place was not doing with her. So we didn't think she could do it on her own and she was actually doing a lot more than what she thought she could do once with their help. It is a small home with 15 people in it. They have a couple of days where they do crafts, they have a beautician that comes in once a week, and all their meals are homemade, nothing frozen. There's two to three people on staff during the day and they check in on them every two hours. They've got monitors all through the house so they can hear what's going on at the other end. They can also come and go with their family if they want to. They have a small spot that heads out to the big porch that they can go out on. It has a dining table down there so you can just sit, or if the family comes in, they could eat down there with you. They have a big bookcase full of books, sort of like a little library area, as well as wild animals outside, such as alpacas and chickens that people can watch and see out their windows."

"Saginaw Geriatrics Home is a nursing home and assisted living. It was clean and very nice. They had activities and good food and she was there for a certain amount of time. She liked it there but her family took her out of there. The staff was very caring and very helpful and she seemed very content. The rooms are not really big. Their assisted living was quite small for two people. "
