"We visited the assisted living of The Terraces at Westminster because my dad is at that point where we think that's where he might need to go. The physical appearance I felt was good. Everybody there was completely happy to oblige me to see the inside. The facility had more of a home feeling because it looked like at some point it was some type of a large home, and everything seemed to be in order. The dining room was very nice; it was set up well like a restaurant. The room was okay. Somebody had just left it, and so there was still some stuff in it. It was a decent enough setup. One place could be for the bedroom and then a little nook kind of place where if you wanted to have a chair and a TV or something. The facilities seemed clean, and all the people that I interacted with were very generous and happy to answer questions. I would give it high ratings. They were doing a crossword puzzle in a group. The only thing I didn't like about the place was that when I walked into the facility, where the main desk is and where the people who work there go in and clock in and out, I felt bad for the group of people because there were probably 8 to 10 people there, and then a lady in the front of the room who was doing all the questions and things like that, and it was very loud and kind of almost intrusive on what they were doing. I came at a time where it was a shift change, so that didn't help, and it was kind of not the best scenario. The rooms were decent size enough that you can fit the least amount of things that you need. My dad doesn't need a lot and he's very simple, so I thought the rooms were OK."
