My parents are in Beehive Homes of Smyrna- Louisville, KY. It's a very homey place, and they have a lot of hands-on care. The staff is nice, very friendly. They love their people. So it's just wonderful. It's like your own house, very nice. They have cornhole toss, bingo, crafts, and they made sandwiches for the homeless. They have a lot of entertainment too. The courtyard is not so great, it's very small, my dad's in a wheelchair, and the sidewalk is downhill, and he's afraid to lose control when he rolls on it, so they haven't been using it. The dining area is nice.

Beehive Homes of Louisville (Smyrna) is really good. When you go in, it's like a home, not a clinical setting. They take care of mom real good. She is in memory care and they got big rooms. They served well-balanced and home-cooked meals, and they take care of pretty much everything she needs. Another reason we chose them is they have activities for her. They play bingo usually in the afternoon, they have people come in and sing, and they have things going on every holiday. For Valentine's Day, they had a king and queen and my mother ended up being the queen. They were also giving them candy.

Beehive Homes has a memory care facility, the staff who showed us around was very personable, nice, and was one of the best host to show you around. The residents really loved her, she talked to them and asked them questions. It’s neat because it was secure. The dining area was very nice. The bedrooms were of nice size, and the bathrooms were really spacious.

Beehive Homes was nice, small community. The rooms were nice and very open. The residents looked very happy.
