I stayed at Sugar Creek for not even a week and then I went back to my own apartment. I was just not ready, and I’m still very independent. It was very good facility. They had a nice big Rec Hall, a big screen TV, and a nice dining hall. The one-bedroom apartment that I was in was nice. It was just perfect for a single person and had plenty of room in it. Everything was neat and clean. They had cards, bingo, checkers, and all that stuff. All the people that were there were really nice. You could sit down, play cards, and watch TV. The staff was excellent, and when I need help they were right there. They were just great. I got along with everybody, and the nurses were really good.
