I toured Country Charm. I really like the little apartments. They seemed to be very spacious and nice. I like the grounds, but the facility itself could use some sprucing up. But the residents we spoke to seemed to be happy to be there. They weren't grumpy or anything like that. It just needed some TLC. They could use new carpeting, some painting and general sprucing up. The staff were very friendly, and they answered our questions. They just didn't have the amenities that the other ones offered. They had the dining area, they had the salon, and they had the activities for the people. They had a room like a library, and they had a room to do crafts and puzzles. They had a bus if they wanted to go shopping. They would take them to dinner once a week or to lunch or whatever.

I'm a current resident of Country Charm. I love this place. This whole place is assisted living. I've been here for four years now. It is just what I needed. I am very satisfied here. They have a good group of people running it. They keep it clean, and they provide good meals. They have activities for us and buses to the doctors. We have dining, once a week they clean, and the nursing staff is wonderful; they are really dedicated people. Our activities have slowed down because of Covid. We're kind of going back. As of yesterday, we're starting to wear masks again. That's another thing, they were so protective of us during the COVID year. We got through it with only a few cases of COVID here. Activities right now are great. They are taking us once a week out in the bus to grocery stores and things like that. We have entertainment come in once every couple of weeks. They're trying to hold things outside in the patio. Inside we've got bingo every day. They have different activities like physical activities to keep us moving. I like the staff and the nurses here. We have a doctor or nurse practitioner here three days a week, and they come to our room. We have a foot doctor that comes every other month, and they come to our room. There are just a lot of good things here. My apartment is really spacious. I got a big living room, a big bedroom, a full kitchen and a walk-in closet. Maintenance is excellent. You call if anything goes wrong, and they're right over.

My sister has moved into Country Charm. We chose them because it is a Medicaid place. It is excellent. It has more help than she got at the previous assisted living place. She seems happy with the food. They have lots of different activities. Everyday, they have something going on, like crafts and parties for the residents. It is just constant all the time.

The doorways in Country Charm were very narrow. It's so easy to bang your finger on the side of the door. That was the only thing I had against it.

I enjoyed my tour of Country Charm a lot. They were very informative and had a lot of amenities that some of the others didn't have. Price-wise, it's also a lot more affordable. It was nice. They had a room with popcorn, coffee, and tea for the residents any time they want to go down and get them. They also had a gift shop/general store, which had detergent, deodorant, shampoo, and more if they needed to buy them. They had a full activity schedule and a bus and car that took the residents wherever they needed to go. The staff seemed professional and neatly dressed; I couldn't say the same for the other places I've been to. The building itself seemed clean.

My father-in-law chose Country Charm, but he’s not ready to go yet. The community was very clean. We liked the outside access; everybody had a front porch and you could go sit on your little patio. You also had inside access to the rest of the building so if you were going to lunch or dinner, you didn’t have to go outside and walk around. You could just stay inside the building. Activities are right there. There were cards and card clubs and they had outside activities. It’s close to a lot of stores and restaurants that the folks could get to very easily by shuttle or car with a family member. The staff was very informative and very friendly, and the other nice thing was that they had a lot of longevity. Some had been there for 13 to 18 years so that says a lot about a place.

Country Charm is a very country-decorated, older facility. They have very large, individual apartments with adequate rooms. They have a cafeteria-style dining room where you go in and get your own food, and it was also very nice. It's in a location where they really don't have expansion room, and they're pretty much surrounded by commercial merchants. Their apartments are very roomy and clean, but it just didn't suit our needs at the time.

Country Charm was pretty cool because it had little apartments versus single rooms. It had that feeling of being more independent living even though it was assisted living. There was a girl, Nikki, who was the one who took me on the tour and was amazing and enthusiastic. You could tell that she loved what she did and loved where she did it. They did different outings with the residents, like taking them out shopping or to dinner, and play cards and Euchre, which is important to me because my mom loves to play Euchre. They have a little library and activities room.

The first place I went to was Country Charm, and their rooms were OK, but it fell small. The staff was nice during my visit. Their dining area was OK as well.

My parents chose Country Charm. They liked it because it had an outside door, and they can sit on the porch. They also like because it has a kitchen. Everybody seemed very happy. We were invited for a meal, and the food was OK. My parents enjoyed it. The staff were very pleasant.

Country Charm Village was nice. The people seemed happy there. They were a little bit out of our range; they didn't take Medicaid there. Also it didn't fit our needs.

Country Charm is a nice facility. My mom's happy there. It's also closest to some of my mother's relative and it was easy to get to. Mom says the food is okay. It's nothing fancy and she gets plenty to eat.

The staff at Country Charm was friendly. But my mother didn't like the facility. It looked very country, and for that reason, it didn't appeal to me as well. I thought the rooms were small, but it was well outfitted for somebody to just walk in, sit down and shower or do it on their own.

Country Charm is close to where I live. It seem really nice. It's real inviting and have a lot of facilities and I don't know if they have the therapy or not, but they would have been my second choice. Everybody has a little front porch and they have their own entrance, and they have three buildings. They have a couple of choices of places you want to eat.

My grandmother has been living at Country Charms in Greenwood, Indiana for the past three years and has been quite happy there since moving in. It really is a delightful place for her and I could not be more pleased. It is an assisted living facility and caters to each resident's individual needs. They seem to strive for giving each resident a true home and allow them to maintain their independence and only help out when needed or asked. My grandmother's studio apartment even has a small kitchen. It's a beautiful facility inside and out and I love the main meeting/dining area. They have an in-house ice parlor and a popcorn machine that everyone loves and have a continuous rotation of daily activities that my grandmother loves too. I'd say that she is never board there! The dining is also quite good. I know that this can be an issue in many assisted living/nursing homes, but they seem to have some very good cooks. They also take daily field trips that my grandmother loves as well. I would highly recommend Country Charms to anyone in need of finding someplace for their loved ones.
