"Birchwood Suites is a wonderful, enhanced assisted living community. Our aunt is there, and she is so happy. The grounds are beautiful, its clean, and the food is great. The staff is very caring. My family member is in their memory care unit called Lavender Gardens, but they also have assisted living and independent cottages as well. What I love best about this place you feel warm and welcome when your there. A real family feel when you walk into the community. Also, from all the places we visited when we were looking around,this place is one of most affordable places on Long Island. Def a place to see!"

"I found The Esplanade at Palisades for my uncle. I like the way the place looks. I love the grounds, and it's 22 acres of land. It seems like the food is very good. I hear that the chef from New York is very good. And the studio room where my uncle will be is very nice. The only staff I met are the ones that took me on the tour, and they were very nice, very helpful, and very informative. The structure of the building is very nice. They have a library, a gym and outdoor spaces."

"I am so thankful I found this place, taking care of My father who was 80 years old was becoming hard on me and my family, we didn’t like the idea of a nursing home so we opted for Divine Serenity. Best decision ever!! My father would call me and tell me how well taken care of he is there, along with being served 3 great meals daily. Danielle is always at the top of her game, from scheduling his doctor appointments to medication schedule, she has never missed a beat. The home is stunning sitting on an acre of land, it provides a safe outdoor area for my father to take walks, or just sit and relax on a nice day. "Spring Meadows by Monarch was very clean and very nice. The people were very friendly, helpful, and gave a lot of information. They had a lot of cool things that they were doing with the residents. They had nice grounds that they could walk around, a courtyard, some gardens that they could work in, a gym, and trips to the market."

"It was very nice. The staff was very professional and very good. I would recommend this place. The dining area was beautiful because the place was near the water, so there was a river view. It was like a hotel. While I was there, some residents were in the exercise class, some were in the computer room, and I also saw a pool table. The food quality at the cafeteria was surprisingly very good."

They work together to achieve the goals they have set. It was a blessing choosing bethel . His achievements have been stunning. The nursing staff treats each patient as family . "We toured Thrive at Montvale. We liked the amenities, and we liked the fact that it was very new and very fresh. It was very nice. The staff was great, and we enjoyed the tour. We liked their meal plan and the size of the facility. It was not too big and not too small. We liked the fact that they could move from independent to assisted living if they needed to. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and they wanted to get to know my parents, which was good. The cleanliness was great. We liked the courtyard quite a bit. They had a garden room and a giant LEGO area for families to play in, and they had water features, but the units were a little bit on the small side. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we liked the setup, the layout, and the spaces."

"It was actually beautiful. I was only able to speak to the manager, but the people that were living there seemed happy. Everyone was waiting for dinner when I arrived there to take the tour. The unit that I saw would have been a joint apartment, but the only thing I didn't like was that it wasn't 2 separate bedrooms. So whoever moves in first would pick his bedroom and the second person would have to pick what would have been the living room. So when you open the door you're in that person's room, and that's the only thing I didn't care for. They have an exercise room, they have their own little post office there, they're own little library, it had everything. When I got there, they had just finished happy hour and most of them are getting ready to eat dinner. The person who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly."

They had a library, and they had activities. We chose it because it was in the neighborhood. We had our mother-in-law there, and we were very happy with it. "

"I toured The Residence at Summer Street. It was beautiful. Obviously there are some questions I still have, but it was gorgeous. It was like being in a high-end hotel. I was very impressed, and the price tag is also hefty. Brianna was very good. She knew when we got into discussions about the needs of people and stuff. She certainly had answers for me. I saw the two models: the studio and the 2-bedroom. The 1-bedroom would be something I would consider. I thought it was beautiful. I think myself and my friend, and I don't think we're so willing to be in such a confined space right now. It certainly is a reference in the future. I was looking for more an independent living situation. They clean. They do some laundry and forty-five minutes of nursing or any kind of care for your ADLs or something a day if needed. Their dining area was beautiful. I looked at the menu when I was in the dining room and the menu was very, very extensive. They have discussion groups, art sessions, and group activities like concerts. They'll have somebody come in. They have a patio so weather permitting, they are out on the patio with activities. There were a lot of things. There was a sheet that comes out every day where you could pick and choose your activities; it was pretty extensive."
