"My daughter took me here for a tour. Everything was nice and very clean. The dining room was nice. Their rooms were fine and good. There's a patio and that's good. The food was good. They have many menus and they were good. They did have a lot of activities there. They have games and movie nights. They have an exercise room and they also have a garden where you can go out and sit outside. Everybody was pleasant. I enjoyed my visit in this facility. It's a place I would stay if I move up there."

"The person I visited at The Knolls really likes the place. It has a very big Olympic-sized swimming pool, and she is a swimmer, so she really loves that. She can drive her car and everything, so she is kind of on her own, and she likes that of course. She has a two-bedroom that has a really nice kitchen, and she can cook her own food if she wants. She has a washer and dryer in the bathroom, and there's one room that is set up like an office with a desk, and she can use that. I saw the dining room, but no one was eating in it. I didn't meet any staff, but my friend showed us the place herself. The facility is not brand new, but it's not really old either, so it's nice."

"I toured the independent living community of Carnegie East House in New York. I like the friendliness of the staff and the whole setup. I like the rooms, the dining area, the common areas, and the menus they offer. I also like the location and the cost. The place struck me as wonderful. It's very appealing and very clean, and I like the decor."

"I have been residing at Atria West 86th for nearly 10 years. My experiences has been ups and down, but overall the facility has been good to me. The socialization activities has given me purpose and joy. I love living here."

"My grandfather moved into Atria Rye Brook, and so far, it seems like it would be a great, new atmosphere for him. The people who work there are lovely and have been very helpful and welcoming. It seems to be a nice next step for him. They have a lot of activities, but he hasn't take advantage because he's busy with the move. But they have poker, happy hours, movie showings, and professors come in and give lectures on what's current (like politics and stuff like that). His room is spacious, it's kept clean, we painted and recarpeted, but it was a clean place to begin with. He mentioned that the food is fine. It's not bad, but it's not great. It's average."

"Gladhaven Club is a small community. There are only about 12 to 15 people there. It's located in an old house so it's very homey. I feel like it's a nice community to be moving into. My tour experience was very good. The rooms vary in size, but they're all quite nice and they are very nicely furnished. If you prefer, you can bring your own furniture too. It appeared to be very well kept. The dining area is communal dining. I didn't have any food, but they said it was all home cooking. I'm hoping it's going to be good. They don't have activities like they do in some places. They have parties occasionally, but they don't have regular activities."

"Really lovely place. The staff is extremely nice, the activities are great, and the food is good (and plentiful), as well. If you can afford it, it's a wonderful community."

"My uncle was at Harbour View Senior Living. The care was very good. He didn't complain about the food. Everybody was just very helpful. It was very clean, a little old, but usable. They had physical therapy. They had a lounging room for everyone. They got you out of your bed every day, and again, they were just very friendly."

"Coterie Hudson Yards is very nice, but it's very expensive. I went on a tour of their assisted living and the rooms are beautiful, the staff is very friendly, and the food is wonderful. It's almost like a restaurant-type atmosphere where you can order drinks with all types of food and entertainment. You have the piano player going while you're eating. The people are polite and professional. I also had a meal with them. They have a wonderful menu and a chef right on the premises. Their rooms are not shared, but they also accommodate couples. They take the residents on tours down to Manhattan and go to different places and different restaurants. It's a wonderful place."

"I am writing this review to compliment the experience I had in the private dining room. My mother had a visit from her niece nephew and grandniece. They were most accommodating to set up the dining room and Daniella, our server was most attentive. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. Thank you so much!"

"The Regency Assisted Living is beautiful, beautiful, and beautiful. The only thing with them is that there is a waiting list for memory care. It is almost an hour to get home, and I wanted something that's a little closer. It was clean and very nice. The memory care was in a locked facility. There is a lot of stimulation. It smells wonderful. The staff was lovely. There are a lot of amenities. Everybody seemed very happy. However, the drawback was the location and the waiting list. The room was a single room, and it was very nice. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. She was very nice, and she answered all my questions. The facility was beautiful. My only complaint is that it didn't have a parking lot, and you had to park across the street."

"My mom is at The Club at Briarcliff Manor. It's newly renovated and so everything is brand new. She has River Hudson views from her one-bedroom apartment. Her meals are included. There's a movie theater, an exercise room, an art studio, and physical therapy. It also has independent living and a memory care unit, and a rooftop terrace where you can actually see the New York City skyline. They ran a promotion for a year of house rent. The staff members are lovely actually, because when she went in she was quarantined, so I quarantined with her for five days. They have a care team on each floor, so I got to meet the nurses and aides. They have an art room, bingo, music, and entertainment. Because of the quarantine, some of the activities are on hold right now. When the quarantine is over they can go shopping and they have a bus. She was close to home, which is what she wanted. She said if she had to leave her home, this was a good place to be. At this point nothing has gone wrong. They have taken good care go her. They're very responsive to my inquiries if I call with an issue. She didn't feel good one day, so I called and they checked on her within an hour. If I have an issue, the CEO calls me back. I ate there for five days when I was quarantined with her. The food was good. We had to eat in our room. They brought our meals to us, so I really didn't get the dining room experience. The activities are on hold right now, but when she was moving around the building she had free rein to go anywhere she wanted in the building and she went to the movies, to the music. She doesn't play cards so she didn't do that, but they were available. Right now they're on hold. They're supposed to come off quarantine on December 24th, Christmas Eve, so that would be a nice Christmas present for them."

"Atria Briarcliff Manor was a nice place. It had a good atmosphere and good employees. They were really in a nice area, and they kept it very well maintained. The rooms were very nice and very accommodating too."
