"Ditmas Park Rehab or as the people here say "Ditmas", is a great facility. My family member was here over the last few months and we are all very happy. Rehab: The rehab downstairs is unbelievable. The therapists are patient and understanding. The progress my loved one made was honestly not in our slightest dreams. Nurses: The nursing staff are top - notch. Medications are given on time and with a smile. Meals: The food here is actually quite good. We are always offered complimentary guest trays when we come visit. As much as people think that all rehab center/hospital food tastes the same, this doesn't. Administration/Social Workers: Very accessible. The administrator and his assistant do daily rounds and have a good grip over what goes on on every floor. There is a lot of construction going on because they are expanding into a brand new facility with other services. Don't let that turn you away. We are really happy with the care here and would recommend this to everyone!!"

"I took a tour, they were nice and courteous there. It was a little bit smaller than the other place I visited, but we like it. The staff cared, and they had the amenities that we needed or that we were looking for. It's accessible to all of my mom's doctor's appointments so that's nice. The staff we met there were informative, patient, nice, and sweet. Their dining area seems community-based and open. The surroundings felt warm, you go in and it doesn't feel like a nursing home. Everybody was friendly there, it didn't feel like the people there were forgotten about, and there was a lot of care. They have transportation to doctors' appointments, which is great. They also had activities that they coordinate for the residents. I remember seeing a few people playing cards in like a sitting room. They have stuff that they plan and then daily stuff that they can do, which is nice."

"My mother is in Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing. It's excellent. I'm very happy with them. It's very clean. The staff is awesome. They take very good care of my mother, who is hard to take care of. They're always friendly and always smiling. They have little concerts, they play games, they have art classes, and Zumba. It's very active. There are a few things every day. My mother said the food is very good. The choices are good, and it tastes good."

"South Mountain Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center has been great. They've been amazing. The staff has been very helpful in this journey, and they've made her stay very pleasant. She does like the food there. The facility is very nice and comfortable. They are very well taken care of, I would say. She's not in a position where she can use those facilities at this time. The staff has been great from the admissions to the social worker, to the physician assistant, the physician, and the nurses, they're all great."

"The people at Belair Nursing and Rehabilitation were very friendly, informative and cheerful. The place was very clean. It was just remodeled and new-looking. They seem to have all the necessary rehabilitation facilities for people that are just learning to walk again. They have big eating areas where they would walk them in, like a dining room. They actually have a library there. I liked the bedrooms, they were large. They can improve on the rehab room because it seemed like the physical therapist had a lot of people there at the same time. They seemed very busy. I'd recommend this facility to others. "

"Sycamore Living is brand new. It just opened in the spring. It's on the small side, but I don't know how many residents they have, I think it's under 50. It's modern and clean. My mother's been there for 2-1/2 weeks now. The staff is very informative, and they've been calling and keeping us posted on how my mother's doing, so the communication is very good. I guess the food is fine; I haven't heard any complaints. I like it. It's very open. My mother's in a private room, but I would know better if I was able to visit her and I was walking in the hallway. I only had a tour of the facility, so it's hard to say. It just looked very nice. It was an office building that was reconfigured to make it into a nursing home or whatever you call these facilities. They have assisted living, long-term care, and rehab. It's a large building, and it's brand new."

" spent two weeks here in the rehabilitation section. I had a private room, everyone here does, which was very nice. The nursing staff are wonderful people. The rehab staff got me back on my feet feeling, not just okay, but really good. I would recommend the Methodist Home to anyone who needs to spend time in rehab. "

"My girlfriend was at Hudson Pointe for eight days. Their attendants were pretty nice and very active people. You don’t really see anyone sitting around. They were always busy taking care of their patients and doing their jobs. It was located in an excellent neighborhood. "

"We went with Hebrew Home at Riverdale for my father. He is there for rehab. The community is beautiful. It's in a beautiful location. It's right on the Henry Hudson on the Palisades. But, part of the facility where they were doing the rehab is very old. They're actually moving my father to a newer unit. So, the rooms are sort of dated. But it was OK. It was fine. I really can't say anything bad about them, and they've been nice. The staff is very nice. They are good with communication and they've been informative. My father had a regular bathroom with a shower curtain or a double door, actually, that opens up, and one bed and a nice window. It was great. He had his own TV, a dresser, and a little closet. He had a single room because he had COVID. They switched him to a double room, but I haven't seen the double room after he tested negative for COVID. I saw the dining room, which was on his floor for the short-term rehab, which had beautiful, big windows. The most gorgeous view, like a multimillion dollar view of the Henry Hudson River. It was very, very clean. There was no smell. It didn't smell like old people. It didn't have that odor. I would like to see them do more physical therapy and occupational therapy with him."

"I went to Manhattanville Health Care Center one time. We went to see my father's friend. She had been there for quite some time receiving physical therapy after a stroke. The staff was very friendly, very caring, and attentive. The facility was very clean. They made sure that Spanish speaking worker was assigned to her, so there wasn't a language barrier issue. I think it was an issue when she first got in, but then they fixed the problem. It was a great experience for me to see the level of care that she was getting. It was before the pandemic in 2019. The facility was very nice."
