"I took a tour, they were nice and courteous there. It was a little bit smaller than the other place I visited, but we like it. The staff cared, and they had the amenities that we needed or that we were looking for. It's accessible to all of my mom's doctor's appointments so that's nice. The staff we met there were informative, patient, nice, and sweet. Their dining area seems community-based and open. The surroundings felt warm, you go in and it doesn't feel like a nursing home. Everybody was friendly there, it didn't feel like the people there were forgotten about, and there was a lot of care. They have transportation to doctors' appointments, which is great. They also had activities that they coordinate for the residents. I remember seeing a few people playing cards in like a sitting room. They have stuff that they plan and then daily stuff that they can do, which is nice."

"I want to first start off by saying Thank You to Hopkins for doing what they do!! They exceeded all expectations!! From when you walk into the building everyone is amazing and super nice. The lobby is quite nice. The staff is wonderful. The recreation team always have programs and events going on keeping everyone busy and smiling. The rooms are tidy and neat - housekeeping does a fantastic job of keeping the building clean. If you ever have an issue with anything, the maintenance department has got you covered in a flash! Whenever we had a question about mom - her social worker was always able to help and get us in touch with the right person. Again Thank you thank you! We can't thank you enoughtfor taking care of our Mother!!!"

"Excellent facility the rooms are spacious and kept spotless by their hardworking staff. The Rehab facility is fully equipped with the lastest state of the art equipment. The Physical and Occupational Therapy staff are well trained, friendly and professional they demand the most out of you. I would highly recommend Ditmas Park for all of your rehabilitation needs!"

"South Mountain Rehab is nice, and I think the staff is nice and very concerned. They have patience with the family. They are nice and do the rehabilitation for their client. They try to have fun with them. So, I find them good. I wish my mother could stay there. The rooms are nice. It is two patients to a room. The facility is very nice too. They have different activities for them. They have people from the outside come in. They have different amusement forms. They sing. They have gospel and churches. They also do things outside, but maybe they can do a little more outside activities. "

"why is there no atm or little shop for residents to get things they need. it would allow them to feel more independant. they would not have to rely on others for daily needs. place is beautiful and staff is great."

"The staff was very friendly and actually knew what was going on with the patients in their care. They always make sure that medications are dispensed on time and accurately, and they are very patient with the patients. They always are constantly checking in on the patients, and communicate very well with family members. The building, at the time was very old, but it was clean and organized. The food looked like it was very good and my grandmother said it was much better than most. Also it is nice to see the same staff members there for a long time which to me means that they like what they are doing, rather than treat it like a job that just pays the bills. When I walked through the building I always got a nice smile from everyone I came in contact with. Also it looked like their equipment was up to date and pretty new. The building has since been removed and they built a new complex that is about 10 times the size. "

"I had to take my mother there in 2021 for broken hip and wrist then in 2022 for broken tibia and then my dad in 2023 for rehab. They received exceptional care from all the workers, nurses,aids,physicians. Yes sometimes there was a shortage of an aid but not enough that anyone should complain. Needless to say they are both living on their own at home thanks to Andrus ‘ rehabilitation program. Thank you for taking care of my parents.. "

"My dad stayed at CareOne when he was recovering from his surgery. The staff was very nice. It was a completely different type of setting. It was more like in between a hospital and assisted living. He was in a semi-private room, and the situation depended on who his roommate was. You would never know who you were going to get. He had some roommates who didn't say anything, or some complained that he had his TV too loud. I guess that's part of the territory, but they looked on him constantly, like they should do. They gave him good care, and we had no complaints. He had physical therapy. Everybody was very nice and did a nice job. We never found him not taken care of when we went there. They were doing everything they could do, and I couldn't ask for anything more. While I was there, they would come in to sweep and mop the floor. One of his complaints was that his food was sometimes cold. I asked him why he didn't complain about it, and he said, "No, I don't want to cause any trouble." So I went and talked to the supervisor. I said, "My dad's food came cold, and that's not right." He said, "Oh, that shouldn't be. We'll take care of it." From then on, his food never came cold, they always made sure it came hot. He also liked omelets for breakfast, and they made sure that they brought him an omelet, whether it be cheese or western. He craved omelets almost every day, and he really enjoyed it. Some people won't ask, but all I did was make a phone call and they took care of it. I couldn't complain about that. He was happy there and had good care. "
