"We went to Ivy Park at Burbank. It was a very beautiful building. It was newer. It was my second choice. Price-wise, it fits the price of where my mom is at now. The trouble I would have had with them is just that it's in a busier section of town. They have three parking spaces for visitors, but if you're visiting your parents there, you have to park several blocks away, so that is super annoying. It's very busy, and the traffic getting there would have been a bigger hardship than where she is now. However, the views from the foothills are very pretty from all the common areas. It was a very pretty facility. It was on par with the other place. It felt like it was designed specifically for senior assisted living. In my mind, it was a toss-up, but when my mom saw this other place, she said she liked it and she felt like she would be comfortable there, so I canceled our second appointment with Ivy Park because she had already made up her mind. The staff members answered all my questions. They were good at responding to the emails that I sent, but in person, I would say they were a little more formal and stiff and not as open or friendly as the members from the other places."

"Belmont Village was very nice, and the staff seemed pretty wonderful. I was impressed with that. I didn’t see anything that needs to improve; they have a lot to offer. I was there at lunch time, so they were all busy with that, and there’s lot of opportunity to be busy. It’s very expensive, and for me, the value was moderate. "

"CityViewVilla Assisted Living is located in LA with architecture, landmarks and attractions surrounding the facility. I recently traveled here to take a tour and I must say, this place is one of a kind. It is my personal favorite in the Los Angeles area. Your loved one can live here independently without a care in the world. The staff are very kind and provide all of the care needed. If I had to choose my personal favorite feature about CityViewVilla would be the rooftop view of this beautiful city and lives up to its name. CityViewVilla is confident that you will like what you see, and second that. The residents are very happy and have nothing to complain about. CityViewVilla is underrated and deserves more recognition. I highly suggest you take a tour. I would also like to mention the rooms here. Once I walked into one I did not want to leave, I felt like I were taking a lovely vacation inside a 5 star hotel. "

"I loved Clearwater at Glendora. It was amazing, and I would live there if I could. It looks like a five-star hotel from the way it was set up. They have a big bar where they have drinks of the day. They have a movie theater and a cafeteria. The bathroom was nice, too. I saw the studio, but it didn't even look like a studio. It was bigger and accommodating. It had a full-size refrigerator and a sink. The staff introduced me to some patients, which was nice. I like the movie theater. They had an exercise room. The living atmosphere was calming and nice. It's more family-oriented. The staff members were really friendly. The facility is brand new."

"The staff is amazing. Everything they do has a specific reason that benefits my mom in the memory care. It's a brand new facility. When you walk in, they make you feel like a family. My mom just went in last Thursday, and it's been an amazing experience so far. They treat them with respect and dignity, and I really like that. They have a nice dining room, activity rooms, and indoor/outdoor activities. There are things going on all the time that engage them. It's wonderful. They only stay in their room pretty much just to sleep. They have executive chefs, and the food is absolutely amazing. We ate two meals with mom. My daughter went to an open house that they had, and she tasted food from around the world. 90% of the food that they do is fresh, and it is as good as any restaurant I've ever been to."

"I am in here. The thing that I really like about them is that they treat me like family. Everybody that works here knows me by my name, including the dishwasher. They are very welcoming and helpful. We have this button thing and when you punch them, they are there within five minutes or so. The apartment is nice. It has a walk-in closet, a living area, a bathroom, a bedroom, and a backyard. I eat all my meals here, and the food is fabulous. We have card games and all kinds of word games. We have people coming. They have a very good service that takes you to church on Sunday, and the place is very secure. "

"Palm Court was lovely. My father was familiar with it from some colleagues, and he felt comfortable there, which is why we picked it. They had a movie room, private restaurant, library, and lectures and were right next door to the senior center, so you could walk right over there for activities. They served three meals and had a new menu every day, plus a private menu. They had private rooms if you wanted to have guests and transportation available within the city. The staff was very friendly and very responsive. It was a very cheerful and happy place. Everyone seemed happy there. A lot my father's classmates lived there, so he knew quite a few people. "

"Westmont Culver City is very nice and it's brand new. My mother has a one-bedroom, one-bath, and it's nice. I highly recommend it. The staff is great. They have a gym, chair aerobics for everybody, a movie theater, a restaurant, a courtyard, front and back entrances, private elevators, you have to use the key to get in, and front desk staff. She doesn't like the food that much."
