My experience was not good at all. There were only four residents, so we thought a small place would be great, but it was actually very bad. My mother fell in the morning, broke a door when she fell, broke her back, and nobody called us until 5:00 that night. They didn't want to take her to the hospital. We went in and moved the stuff out, and that was it. They did not have the menu posted. They wrote it out on a book, and it was never a proper menu, so there wasnt a schedule for food and you never know what you're getting. I couldnt believe it but at one point they put peanut butter and tuna fish on a sandwich to be given to the residents to eat for lunch. That's not the combination that we would normally put together. I actually talked to the girl about it. They only had one staff personnel there on night shift and most of the residents just slept at night, so there are only a few hours that she sees them. Most of the personnel there were foreign, so it was difficult to understand them, and there were a lot of turnovers in the staff as well. They had a screened front porch, but they wouldn't allow the residents to go out and sit, so they were captive in the house. They could never leave the house at all. They had a schedule of activities but nobody engaged.
