My wife and I have been residents of Bristol Landing at the Mayflower for 4 months. I can say that our residential unit is beautiful, comfortable and "home". We have been warmly welcomed by staff and residents including many invitations to join others for meals. Activities are many and varied, including games, hobbies, concerts and fitness programs for all levels of ability. Being a retired physician I am most impressed with the medical facilities: rehab, assisted living, nursing, memory care and the presence of a gerontologist three days a week in offices on campus. His nurse practitioner is available five days a week. Food is well presented and delicious in the three restaurants. Take out food is a quite popular option and easy to do. Our move here was the right thing to do for us.

What I like about The Mayflower is the view. The location is close to everything. The staff who assisted me was excellent. They were very friendly and very nice. The food looked nice. Overall, the community was nice. The atmosphere was serene and quiet. Their dining area and the courtyard were very nice, too.

We went to The Mayflower. It's acceptable. It's a very old facility, built like 40 years ago, so everything was very old. The staff was very nice. The rooms were acceptable. They redo the rooms every time a resident comes in, but the lobby and the building, everything was just too old. It needs renovation. They had 1-bedrooms or studios, and they had different configurations. They had arts and crafts, beauty shops, and regular dining.

The Mayflower is the top-of-the-line here in Orlando, and it's the epitome of everything exclusive. It has a hefty price and a very formal dining room. The place was immaculate. They didn't have assigned seating at the tables, so people can visit with other tables. We ate there, and the food was superior. We talked to several people who were very business and customer-oriented, and took their jobs seriously.

The Mayflower is small. At this point, my dad is very comfortable and healthy. The staff is very nice, very helpful, and caring. They have birthday parties and games, they have a computer room and a rec room with a pool table, and they take them to the stores and stuff like that.

I am constantly at this facility visiting. What a breath of fresh air. The residents attend local activities, seasonal events and eateries. I go visit weekly taking him to lunch at a local eatery downtown and return with no problems. He raves about the meals and the quality of the food and it makes me feel safe knowing he is there. The very best thing he likes about this place is it similar to a "family." Other men at this assisted living facility are all polite and I have never heard a negative comment from anyone. I would recommend this place to a family member or friend.

This is a terrible place to have a family member, it's more like a jail
