About Arden Courts of Winter Springs in Winter Springs, Florida
Arden Courts is 100% dedicated to persons living with Alzheimers disease and related dementias or memory loss. We have a unique layout that includes 1/4 mile walking paths outside that is completely secured. Our programming offers structured, engaging programs 96 hours a week. Also, we have a nurse in the building around the clock that assures family members that their loved ones needs are met by a licensed nurse. In addition to our Standard Assisted Living license, we also have a Limited Nursing Services license. At Arden Courts, we do a thorough assessment of our residents needs and preferences which is developed into a customized service plan. Our staff has the experience and longevity that is a benefit in caring for people living with dementia. Arden Courts is the only memory care community to be recognized by the Alzheimers Association for our dementia-specific training program for our staff. We also have many caregivers and other nurses celebrating over 10+ - 14 years of service. We have an all-inclusive monthly rate. As our residents progress with dementia, they will require more care. At Arden Courts, we do not charge for that additional care. The monthly rate includes all levels of care, meals, housekeeping/laundry, 96 hours of programming, 24/7 nursing care, private bedroom, brand new mattress, and furniture, as well as toilet paper, room furniture, linens/towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc. To learn more about this providers license and review other available state reports, please visit: Florida Agency of Health Care Administration

My mom moved into Arden Courts of Winter Springs about a month ago. They have a lot of activities for her to do, and they serve meals in the dining room. It seems nice. She doesn't like it, but she'll get used to it. Her room is very nice. It already had furnishings, so you don't have to supply bedding and all that stuff. You don't have to buy furniture, which I like. It's a good size for a person. For activities, they have music and arts and crafts. They try to get them out of their room.

The caregivers were exceptional and went out of their way to make my dad comfortable. They were patient with him, and helped find the right meds to help with his agitation. They even encouraged him to participate in the activities, which he was not fond of at first. But they kept asking him each day to attend, and they never gave up. The facility is amazing, and has lots of space for the residents to walk, inside and outside. That was my dad's favorite thing to do, be outside and walk. The food was good too, I spent a few meals there with my dad and he was always happy with his options.

My mother was at Arden courts for almost 1 year. It was a hard desicion for my father and I to make but it was the best desicion for my mother. The staff and facility was the best. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Loving and caring for everyone there. Sadly enough my mother pasted but I still visit and keep in contact with the staff. We are family.

My husband was at Arden Courts at one time, and I thought it was really good. The actual surroundings and the building were nice, and the whole thing was run very well. They had a lot of activities, like exercise, entertainment, bingo, and other things. They had a nice, big backyard that they can walk in. I didn't have any complaints, but my husband broke his leg and had to be taken out and go to rehab. We are not taking him back because they do not allow rails on the beds.

Arden Courts has a homey environment, not institutional or hospital-like, and does not smell. All the rooms are private and adequate. There are community and activities rooms with a lot of activities, like musicians who come in, trivia games, and arts and crafts. They occasionally have outings for the residents. It’s the best that I have found for my sister.

Arden Courts was a locked down facility for Alzheimer’s and dementia. They did an excellent job and do social development. It was clean. They kept everybody sort of busy, and it had good security. My mother-in-law was a resident there. They had several community rooms. I had eaten there, and the food was quite good. I was impressed with their professionalism. For someone who has dementia and Alzheimer’s, that’s the place to be.

My mother is at Arden Courts. It has been excellent. They have succeeded my expectations. So far, so good. They have single rooms in assisted living and memory care. The food and social recreations are both excellent. There are four wings, there is a small dining room in each wing, and then there is a main dining room. There are activities from 9 to 7 everyday.

I've visited the memory care apartments at Arden Courts and they were very small, but the facility is very nice. Their staff seemed great.

I would have loved to put my mom at Arden Courts but they didn't had the diversion program for medicare or medicaid. I liked it because it was clean and the people were very friendly. I toured the whole facility and the rooms were very nice. They showed me the activities that they do and they seemed to have more one-on-one activities. They showed me the courtyard that they could go out to. They have a really good reputation in the area and it's recommendable.
